Perks that work because they shouldn't.

My favorite kind of perks in the game. Perks that are so inadvisable to run that no one ever expects you to have it—and that's what makes it work. It comes so out of left field that by the time they've realized you have it, it's too late.

STBFL on Oni. STBFL on Twins. Bamboozle on Trickster. Enduring on Huntress. Dragon's Grip... in general. Breakout. Mettle of Man. No One Left Behind. The list goes on.

What's your favorite "Why would you run that?" perk/build? I'm totally doing this for science and not for ways to troll people in the matches I play with woke ass strats.

I feel like this every time that I get hit by a survivor running Power Struggle.

All... twice times, that that's happened.

Coup de Grace and Play With Your Food on Legion

Nobody expects it and 1 hit is all it takes to go down after a frenzy. People tend to really greed vs m1 killers so that extra lunge or 5% ms often causes that one extra loop to be fatal

I like PWYF on Legion for reasons other than the unexpected nature. I like PWYF on Legion because it's just good on Legion.

Seriously, it rewards you for using your hit-and-run power by improving your ability to hit-and-run. It's great.

Dragons Grip with Insidious on a normal terror radius killer and then hide nearby a gen after kicking it. I've personally fell for it twice. Once against a Trapper and another on a Demo I believe.

It probably wont work all that often but I imagine it's hilarious to see.

Insidious in general at weird spots can get some funny hits.

Distressing on Deathslinger. They get so confused. That, or they get so used to hearing the TR that they get greedy. Combo this with Dark Devotion and they hit peak confusion :D

The one time I got hit with power struggle I was a bloodpallet Freddy.

    He hit a bloodpallet

Honestly if they made it so you could Power Struggle a dream pallet I wouldn't even be mad. It's Power Struggle.

I think one of my favorite gimmicky “works because it’s dumb” mix is

    • Lightborn - immune to being blinded and if someone tries to blind you se see their aura for 10 seconds (a very long aura!)
    • Brutal Strength - Break pallets faster
    • Agitation - Carry survivors faster
    • Mad Grit or Endurance - either hit people for free while carrying or get stunned less by pallets

Basically this is a really stupid loadout that pretty much guarantees you a free hit whenever a survivor tries to flashlight blind you at a pallet or when carrying someone. It’s dumb because if survivors play efficiently they don’t try to go for flashlight blinds, they just stick to gens and hook rescues. It works (and is honestly kind of hilarious) because people who carry flashlights never expect you to have a build made specifically to hit just them.

How rude. You stole my answer. 😛

Answering the OP's question... Agitation is also fantastic for this. It's a bit more common than some of the other answers but it still fits the bill. Usually killers are vulnerable while carrying... but Agitation flips the script. It is so satisfying to down an over ambitious flashlight user with Agi.
