Does anything else think the twins "change" is gonna be a nerf

or do nothing of course.

i feel like alot of changes like hillbilly and Death-Slinger have just killed the killer for most people

and i feel like they just dont like twins so there gonna make them even more unplayable then they are right now.

Just please for the Love of the Entity

DONT MAKE VICTOR AN A.I

They did good work with other killers though, like Leatherface or Doctor, which became stronger and arguably better to play. Or Freddy, though many seem to consider him more boring now.

The problem with twins is that you are not playing the killer, but waiting during switching animation cooldown and victor stun. It's not fun.

yeah there not "weak" but there not "monstrous" like they said in Q&A they are sluggish and a pain to play, especially since they have gotten nerfs every update in recent history

Its probably going to be a nerf to their ability to camp if I had to guess.

I just hope in trade they make it feel less bad to switch between them, and using victor successfully (still the most absolute braindead change I've ever seen in any game ever)

I would hope it's an actual change, like complete overhaul. They're certainly one of the most interesting killers design-wise. But they feel utterly miserable to play as and against.

It may or may not be. Personally i hope its a huge change because nothing can be worse then what we have now right?....

  • It's a complicated design problem, to try and understand what it is that makes the killer so bad for most skill brackets, and so good for a select few near the top.

This is still the first I've ever heard of Twins being remotely strong though. I need to see these Twins mains who have some of the highest kill rates to believe it.

They need to lean into the coolest aspect of the Twins' design, which is the ability to switch between 2 places at once with different powers tied to both killers. By making it slow and sluggish, that kills that concept dead.

imo they need to sit down and talk to these mythical, alleged, "high kill-rate Twins players" and figure out with them what it is that makes the killer OP, and what makes them so terrible for everyone else.

It's probably going to include some nerfs, yes. I imagine they're going to want to nerf their ability to camp to a very high kill rate, but this time around they've at least acknowledged that they have, in their words, "friction points" causing them to feel bad.

How effective it'll be remains to be seen, BHVR have kind of a mixed record when it comes to big killer changes, but I doubt it'll just be nerfs. They're going to try and make them feel less clunky to play, if nothing else.

I hope. Twins are terrible to go up against as a solo player. Games are done in like 5 minutes. Slug, proxy camp, and everyone is down or on a hook. Yawn.

If I had to do some small non-rework changes, it'd be:

    1. If Victor is within 6 metres of a hook when a survivor is hooked on it, he self-destructs.

(Make it so that the Twins player hears Victor's weird shriek range sound effect if close to that hook and carrying a survivor, to indicate he will be crushed if you hook there.)

    2. You can switch back to Charlotte instantly during a successful Pounce cooldown, and she wakes up instantly with no fatigue. Successful Pounce cooldown is still 5 seconds.

I would say an add-on pass, but this most recent one (along with Spirit's add-on pass) has utterly crushed my hopes for them to get any decent ones. I used to want Pyramid Head to get an add-on pass, but now I'm pretty sure all that would be is a nerf to each of his range add-ons and, like, a 2 second buff to Iridescent Seal of Metatron's aura reveal.

"Even know they where his only useful addons, they were used to much. so we decided to nerf his range addons"
