I'm going to give BHVR props!
They've disabled Haddonfield until it gets graphically updated - meaning we AREN'T going to suffer through a deluge of Strode Realty Keys every game, as people use up their stocks of this famously well-balanced and fair map! I didn't think they would do this and I am surprised, but appreciative.

Haddonfield doesn't bother me. There's a decent selection of maps that are equally hostile for killers.

you'd be amazed at how many people do not read patch notes!
Having a kill switch list that we can refer people to quickly is super useful. And yes the map is having an update and will be out of rotation for the immediate future.

I figured we were going to be asked a lot about it, so wanted to clear it up out of the way from the start.

Right now I'm more concerned about RPD and Boil Over, as I'm already seeing people running this and immediately heading to the Library to be literally unhookable.

Just give it a few days and nobody will be using the perk. It's not even good on most maps. I wouldn't worry about it.

The only people who will be using it are newbies (who it won't help) and bully 'stall the game out as long as possible' squads, who will be exploiting it endlessly.

At long last! I always felt bad when M1 killers stopped as they realized what was happening when I ran around the same omega fence for the 4th time.
That's concerning. RPD is so problematic. I've also seen a trend in Doctors playing RPD offerings and basically playing hostage Doc with one side of the map. The map needs to go.

That will be followed by an increase in slugging on those matches, for which there will be survivors complaining about the gameplay caused by their own actions. The circle of life continues! :)
