Stretch res isn't problem now? (devs reply nedeed pls)
As we know, stretched resolution has a huge benefit for the people who use it, and I want to finally discuss this with the developers, so I respectfully ask a couple of questions below that I hope to get answered.:
1. Can I use a stretch that will give me an advantage over other players?
2. Will i get banned for using this?
3. Are that exploits? If yes, why wouldn't fix yet
4. Is it really so difficult to fix, because this problem has been going on since the very beginning of the game

It’s not bannable sadly.

Not bannable but use an exploit to have advantage over other players is really a shame. It's unfair and if you need that to outplay someone, ask you the good question..

1) You can due to the way vertical FOV is handled.
2) You cannot be banned for using Stretched Res to the best of my knowledge.
3) These are technically exploits by definition and the devs have said as much (not_Queen did so once in a Tru3Ta1ent stream).
Can't find the exact quote but here's a thread confirming it happened.
Also they don't like their Fog Whisperers using it, and have asked them to refrain from doing so in the past.
4) I cannot comment on how easy/difficult it is to fix since I'm so incompetent at anything tech related.

It's bannable but almost impossible to prove unless the user is recording or streaming.

You have to have a spirit picture before you can enter their profile

it's not bannable and as far as I know, the devs don't seem to care much, frankly, I don't really either if you're willing to look at the horrible abomination that is stretched res then you deserve the slight advantage it gives you in like 5% of tiles

It actually is bannable, it’s just that it’s almost impossible to prove someone else was using stretched res in your own ingame report since it only shows up on their screen. But the devs have, for example, warned Fog Whisperers not to use stretched res.
