Badham is just as bad as Haddonfield
This map gives me headaches. I find myself struggling on every chase in this map. I know Haddonfield is bad, but badham is almost as bad.
I clocked at least 3 dirty house loops, a killer shack, a basement with a literal God pallet you have to break, and a breakable wall you have to break before picking up a survivor or they get free. (How is that fair?) Unless basement spawns down there, and... a rage inducing house basement dirty loop.
Like... seriously tho?
Every time I get this map, and that's 3 times today so far I always debate just quitting immediately before I suffer through it.
If the survivors know the loops, you may as well hang your hat. I find myself walking and walking and walking to catch anyone at all. I almost always get less than 6 hooks when I play this hellish map against competent survivors Holy crap.
It's so blatantly obvious the devs made this map for survivors. It's a golden platter for them. There's so many disgustingly safe loops. Not much to play around. It's just a walking simulation for killers.
This, rpd, and Haddonfield are so broken. Ormond sucks too but only for its size. Even Ormond has playable loops.
Badham is just a dirt nap for killers.

Badham Is so gross it makes you not want to leave any hook you get. Lol. Like I don't wanna gen patrol on this map. I wanna proxy camp all my chases bc the set up is so dirty. Ugh.

People complain about Haddonfield but it's not as bad as it used to be it's been adjusted several times and disabled currently, badham is in my opinion one of the strongest survivor maps because everywhere you look there are extremely safe pallets and multiple buildings with windows and pallets.

Remembering when Badham was actually pretty decently balanced, went from horrifically survivor sided to moderately okay but still kinda survivor sided.
Then they added breakable walls.

When I load in, and it's this map, I immediately meme and don't take it seriously for the sake of my sanity. I'll try to fo my best but I know it's a lose lose depending on how well the survivors understand the layout. If they know the loops it's a losing battle. So I just expect the worst. I take it as bad luck, we'll try next match
Unless the survivors are potatoes.

It's worse than Haddonfield. Haddonfield atleast doesn't have Shack, unlike Badham, which has every unbalanced factor Haddonfield has (aside from Balanced Landing) combined with Shack

I'd rather load into Haddonfield than Badham. Haddonfield, I can at least protect certain gens and pick a side of the map to play around. Badham is just completely and utterly unpleasant. All of the loops have visibility, every gen is in its own private solar system, there's 4 very strong buildings to loop equally spaced around the map so that something's always in running distance, and even the dead zones have plenty of good pallets.

Eh Ive never really had a problem with Haddonfield since they nerfed balanced landing and took away the infinite fence windows that used to spawn in the front yards and behind the blue house with the picnic table pallet in the middle of two fence windows, there's alot of deadzones in Haddonfield now but it's still not a bad map for survivors I just think it gets alot of unwarranted grief from killers who have PTSD from the old days on that map

Both are so insanely badly designed that there's no point discussing which is worse. I hate Badham more just because for some reason it has 5 variants, so you get it way more due to RNG.

Thank god, but that's not actually how it works. The game selects a realm randomly (or via an offering), then a map from that realm.

Nah, unless they changed it recently I remember hearing on a dev stream that realms don't affect map selection. That's why you're way more likely to play on Autohaven, Macmillian, Coldwind and Springwood before you see something like Ormond or RCPD.
