Slowdown discussion

Kind of a question for survivor mains, but what type of slowdown do you think is effective, but also not terrible to face?

For example, would you rather face gen blocking slowdown perks (corrupt, deadlock, dead man's switch), or regression slowdown perks (pop, ruin, jolt)? Would you prefer healing slowdown and/or totem slowdown perks (sloppy, thrill of the hunt, etc.) over gen slowdown?

I'm trying to think of builds that are work well without making the game feel "robbed" for the other team. In my opinion, I would much rather go against gen blocking alone for the killer's slowdown because unalike regression, you don't feel like your progressed was wasted, only halted. Weirdly though, they both appear similarly viable.

With the CoH meta around, healing slowdown doesn't feel impactful, but if it were viable would you prefer to face that type of slowdown over gen defense perks?

What do you guys think? Maybe an agreement here could signal to the devs how slowdown should be handled in the future with new perks and balancing.

As a survivor, I enjoy ruin because all you need to do is hammer gens and they have virtually no slowdown. Blocking is awful because it is guranteed downtime.

As a killer, slowdown is overrated as hell and most kills come from end game anyways.

When playing survivor I honestly don't care because it is barely noticed. If my gen gets blocked I just go over to the next and work on it til I go back to the original gen. Corrupt is only really annoying due to having to search more for an unblocked gen.

As killer on my nem, that I have my prefered build on, I run slowdown, regression and endgame. Deadlock, corrupt, no way out, and that one scourge hook that explodes gens. Otherwise on all other killers I just run whatever tier 3 perks I have unlocked.

I'd rather go against gen blocking perks like Corrupt than gen regression perks. Perks that block gens only add the time that was blocked to the gen but regression adds the time that the gen loses plus the time that you spend repairing it again. It's why Rundying was so horrible to face a couple years ago.
