To give an explanation once again for all the threads that have been merged here:
The shards are coming, it's a process that needs to be done manually and couldn't be done prior to the removal of the masks.

Wow... I spent my shards on DS expecting the 6k could get me Clown during the patch, I guess I got wrecked harder than a face camped survivor...

Is there any particular reason why BHVR didn't make it clear in the first place that they had to do this manually instead of telling us we'll get 6k shards in the mid-chapter update?
Alternatively just literally give it to anyone who owns Bubba?
Y'all like to give yourself unnecessary extra work for a company that likes to say "that would take too long" a lot.

it took me so much time to get jake skin almost no bubba player had it (nobody plays jake, very rare to see him)... my compensation 2000 shards. nothing.

manually? I don't think they are doing it manually, that would be sad since they have programmers. create a script and it does it in 1 second.

It's probably more like a week. If we're lucky we'll get it in a couple of days but I doubt it

I had two masks for bubba and i did not get the 6k shards but all of my friends did when they did not even have masks. Is it just me who did not get shards?

Not just you. I have 9k hours into the game, unlocked all Bubba masks.. and still didn't get the shards. I'm hoping that I get them before the 24 hours is up, but all of my friends have gotten them so far

Just for those that are unaware
21:00 (9pm) GMT yesterday they made a tweet giving us our 24 hour warning, so if you don't already have your shards well- it's 12:00 GMT now, giving around 9 more hours to receive your shards.
If you don't have your shards by 22:00 (10pm) GMT, then contact support, unless more news is given.
Ik this has already been said but, there's another time frame just in case you don't have them yet.

Wait do we get 6000k shards only if we played LF between the announcement and mid chapter patch ?
Or is it only for people who had the mask and played a game as LF ?

Anyone who played as Leatherface is going to get 6000 shards.
Because maybe you bought Bubba because you wanted one specific mask. Maybe you 99%ed every mask the day before the announcement that they were going to be removed. Maybe you might have wanted to earn all the masks one day.
As for when you'll get the 6000 shards, that's anyone's guess. One day.

I saw on twitter that within 24 hours it should be in my account but I still didn't receive it, and its's day 28 already.

It has been much longer than 24 hours, I still have not received shards. Why is this a manual process? I've submitted a ticket 20 hours ago.
