If dead hard got nerfed....
Would survivors be weakened too much?

Yes, more nerfs would come for killers and more people crying again in this forum

No, I haven't used dead hard for a while now and I'm doing just fine.

It wouldn't be a nerf for me since I never run dead hard. I run the good old spring burst.

DH is the biggest crutch in the game and is primarily used to rectify a mistake or to out-perk an out-play. So technically many survivors will be weak because they’ve relied on it for so long, but that's a skill issue and not a balance issue.

Not really- Dead Hard is strong, and even its intended effect is pretty nice, but it's not in the realms of BT/DS/UB where it covers for an actual need in the match. If any of those perks got nerfed (or nerfed further in the case of DS), then maybe, but just straight utility perks like Dead Hard aren't necessary in the least.
I don't run it myself and I'm a pretty rubbish survivor, but I'm not at a gigantic deficit for it. I've been doing adepts for all the survivors I own as something of a training ground for playing survivor in general, and any time where DH would've come in useful was a time that I messed up and would've been bailed out by the dodge- contrast to the multiple times I've been hard tunnelled off the hook, or camped and farmed by a teammate without BT. Those weren't mistakes I made, and the corresponding perks wouldn't have bailed me out, they'd have countered that tactic being used.

Only the survivors that are hard carried by Dead Hard and Iron Will lol. That is a lot of people though

Some would. I never use dead hard and I do fine. Other exhaustion perks would see more use. Only the people who are hard carried by second chances would grow weak.
3 -
Well that depends entirely on what the nerf is.

Sweet. I do lithe

same as killers than are carried with gen regresión perks

I mean they've essentially only nerfed survivors since launch and have continuously buffed killer so I'm really expecting it. If they do I would probably quit survivor for good, survivor would have nothing left. They just made The Artist with Dead Man's Switch and Pain Resonance giving me the easiest wins of all time so it just would not be worth playing such an objectively inferior role.

The only thing that would happen is survivors would play safer and switch to Sprint Burst or Lithe.

I sat and made a killer miserable with Boil over through half the game. lol I still think survivors have it in the bag ;)
4 -
it should work only after 2 secs of running

Boil Over is such a stupid perk. Basically no good killers care about it at all, just walk down the stairs lol. I get that there's an infinite but they could just put a hook up there and problem solved.

I love to use Dead Hard, it is strongest perk in the game probably. But if they nerf it, it would not effect me so much. DS & BT are most important perks because if killer play naughty, this perks can save you. Dead Hard can not.

Very few people are running it. Watch any "high MMR" player's streams and even the people that are running it (very few) are not getting any value out of it.

This. I use SB or overcome.
If this nerf hurts survivors a lot, then I guess we could see some killer nerfs as well. We'll just have to wait and see.

... killer would complain about the next perk in the row. Like how its OP to save sprintburst for mid-chase.
2 -
Ehh there's a difference being able to survive without distance on command and actually neutering yourself. Literally on half the roster you NEED gen regression to do well against survivors with brains.
4 -
100% SB is gonna get complained about. Its stronger imo and much easier to use. It can even save you from getting injured and make it to the next loop.

Depends on the nerf, removing validation so they needed proper timing again would still leave it as the best perk in the game.
Getting rid of iframes would certainly make it much more niche than a lot of killer mains would have you believe.
0 -
No if DH was removed no it would just mean they can overly rely on a busted perk but, it also depends on how they would do it.

No removing the iframe wouldn't make it so niche it would still be a distance perk It'd just make survivors actually try since alot overly rely on this safety net of a perk.

Wow nice congratulations on flat out showing that people like you suck.

Showing a problematic perk is me sucking? I think that helps feedback actually lmao

So this was a joke then?
"I sat and made a killer miserable with Boil over through half the game. lol I still think survivors have it in the bag ;)"
If it was fine I'm sorry. if not you know what I think.

Definitely not, survivors are fine as is and somehow dead hard is allowing them to have another life every minutes or so.
0 -
They are going to be fine without it.
I never use this perk and I don't feel like I need it.

More survivors quitting is extremely good for game tbh, more balanced matches and faster survivor que, everyone will be happy.

I'll be fine. I use Balanced Landing xd
