My thoughts on Springtrap...(why I want him)
Springtrap... A corpse inside of an animatronic body that's trying to kill you, that sounds scary. True springtrap killed children (so did Freddy Krueger) but in FNAF 3 and pizzeria simulator you play as a night guard (surprise 😲 that night guard isn't a child.) I'll be honest I think Springtrap should be added as it will bring more players to the game. Also think of people who played FNAF, they'll be the same age as dbd players are today. In honesty both games will benefit from it.
Now to things I want if FNAF gets a chapter.
If there was a FNAF chapter coming, I would like to play on a map that's an abandoned pizzeria with hooks made from broken animatronics and with the four first survivors with the original FNAF characters masks. (Dwight gets Freddy, Cluedette gets chica, Jake gets Bonnie, and Meg gets foxy.) I think the head of golden Freddy as it's eye would flicker should be a charm.
A few ideas for his power. (Still working idea)
When a survivor dies on a special hook. It'll add animatronic (up to 2 hooks.) Similar to how nemesis' zombies. (Add-ons will be able to change the animatronics, for example foxy's hook. It'll replaces Bonnie or chica with foxy... He would rush at the survivor but if he's blinded he would leave that survivor alone for good amount of time)
He would also have phantom mode that allows him to track his prey in phantom body. Once he exits phantom mode he would let out his scream and be able to pounce attack. This attack can damage gens and destroy breakable objects.

Unironically the only thing that would really reel me back into this game is Spring Trap being added.
6 -
Same here.

I guess it’s time for these threads to start back. This is the ?3rd? one I’ve noticed in the past couple of days.
6 -
I was just being honest on it
1 -
Yup, this is the third active one for some [BAD WORD] reason. Seriously?
4 -
How dare people talk about what's on their mind.
8 -
Unfortunately, threads like these and their numbers are part of the reason why some of the DBD community are so dead set against any of the FNAF being included in game. If they find these posts tedious now, then how bad would it be with the actual FNAF community taking a stronger interest in DBD if it was included?
I noticed you used the word honest a lot. You may try to tone down your use of the word. It will help lend more credibility to your ideas. Just an observation.
3 -
Sooooooo less threads about people giving their opinions on potential content and back to "nerf DH nerf NOED" threads?
6 -
Since there are currently three topics on spring trap it lends to the issue of FNAF spamming that creates more issue than resolves. The OP could have put their ideas on one of the other two topics covering the exact same things and refreshed a much larger conversation. I could care less if spring trap is in the game but creating more topics on it does not help the cause that so many seem so adamant
soooooooo yeah. Less obnoxious.
3 -
Would be a cool chapter if an anti-LGBT bigot doesn't get any royalties or income whatsoever from the chapter. Unfortunately, that's not the case, so I am morally and ethically against the chapter.
2 -
By making a new thread for something that's already got a relevant thread, and with a vague title?
No, it's annoying. It's annoying when people make a bunch of duplicate threads for everything else, but at least those are generally talking about what's actually in the game rather than mostly talking about a completely different one.

What Scott did wasn’t wrong it’s his money he donates to who he wants! Also he has lots of friends who are LQBTQ. You think it’s ok for someone having a opinion getting harassed and having his wife and kids be tormented cause he donated to people he believes in?
5 -
I like the games, I like the character. I despise the games community, I despise this games community. Don't think I'd cope with both combining.
0 -
Oh, we're starting FNAF spam again?
7 -
Yeah donating money to anti-LGBT politicians who promise they will fight to try and strip LGBT+ human rights isn't wrong. My bad.
"I have LGBTQ+ friends" is not an excuse. Calling someone out for their bigotry is not harassment. People sending threats to his wife and kids are morons. These two things are not mutually exclusive. Yes, I believe Scott Cawthon deserves to be called out and dragged for his contributions to extremely bigoted politicians that literally try and remove human rights.
3 -
Jesus christ, if you don't like the thread, don't click on it, just move on. Is it really that difficult?
I'm sorry if I sound aggressive but my god I'm just tired of these cookie cutter replies on threads of people just wanting to share their thoughts on FNAF in DBD. The thread isn't even breaking the forum's rules, just relax man.
4 -
They didn’t remove #########. Pay rates of non Caucasians have increased. Plus Scott donated to Pro LGBTQ community’s. Also Scott donating to Republicans had nothing to do with Gay and Trans rights!
6 -
Yes, but people are talking about different things relating to Fanf. Also, making a thread gets across whatever you're trying to say far better than a comment on some other persons thread will.
You really wanna see more "Nerf Dead Hard" and "Noed Op" threads?
1 -
Cut the intellectual dishonesty. Those politicians actively tried to fight for success, with the promise they'd work to tear down LGBT+ rights if they made it in. Luckily, they weren't able to get away with every single thing they tried to do. LGBT+ wellbeing still took a large hit from those that did make it as far as they did. And you are still responsible for what happens when you actively vote for and donate to people that actively promise they will try their best to strip away LGBT+ human rights. Donating to charities with zero legal sway is not even remotely comparable to donating to actual politicians who have the power to change legislation.
3 -
i know this isn’t my thread but can we lock any threads that go into spiraling bullshit like this? What would you rather have a man who supports his believes and donates to people he wants or a pedophile who molested a kid during his movies and only got 15 months in jail? People treat Scott like he’s evil all because he donated to people who aren’t all anti LGBT.
3 -
Fun fact, you can be against more than one thing at a time. The immediate reliance on whataboutism just makes it really obvious how indefensible Scott Cawthon is. Also, how very privileged of you to simply have the ability to dismiss the efforts of people trying to erode human rights for minorities as "spiraling bullshit". Fun fact, "supporting your believes and donates to people he wants" does not exclude you of the responsibility you bear for supporting, voting, and donating to politicians that try and tear away human rights for an already historically oppressed minority group. Fun fact, you can also be against the pedophile. Fun fact, supporting people that want to strip away human rights for systemically oppressed minority groups does make you a pretty trashy person.
1 -
Wait so Im not too familiar with Scott as a person just more so the games, where did he donate too? Different Oni btw.
0 -
He donated to republicans. People are claiming he donated to anti LGBTQ but he didn’t it just so happened that some members in the Republican Party were like that. But Scott also donated to Pro LGBTQ and has friends he supports and his community is part LQBTQ. There not stripping there rights it doesn’t ######### matter if your gay or trans. Are they going to kick you out of the country or not give you a job cause of your ethics of being gay or trans? No
2 -
He donated to Tulsi Gabbard and other Republicans including former President Trump.
Please note that he was subsequently doxxed and had his life and the lives of his family threatened.
2 -
Yep. They were leaked out and everyone threatened Scott and his wife and kids

Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, Tulsi Gabbard, Ben Carson, John Cornyn, John R Gregg, Christina Hale, Devin Nunes, Elise Stefanik, Cory Gardner, Cathy McMorris Rodgers, David Valadao, Tommy Tuberville, National Republican Senatorial Committee, Kimberly Klacik, Kevin McCarthy, Bill Cassidy, WinRed. You can Google any of their names to find details on all of the ways they are expressly against various LGBT+ human rights.

Well, its a matter of the heart for some people. Let em talk about it if it's that important to them. This is the best way to let BHVR know what's going on, how they then act upon it is their decision.
Same with all the DH or impotent killer complaint treads. Yeah, there are many of these, too, and one might have sufficed, but that's a matter important to a lot of people, and while it's not resolved in any way, let them bring it up constantly. That's one of the reason d'etre for a forum like this.

They're not though. Federal law literally requires any donation over a tiny amount to be public. You should really double check what you talk about.
An anonymous contribution of cash is limited to $50. Any amount in excess of $50 must be promptly disposed of and may be used for any lawful purpose unrelated to any federal election, campaign or candidate.
Federal law requires disclosure of most significant contributions over $200. This includes donors’ names, addresses, occupations and employer information, which then become public record freely available and tracked by the FEC. Many organizations report all contributions to stay on the safe side of disclosure laws.
Federal law requires that all political action committees, political parties and federal candidates disclose any and all contributions received that are over $200. This information, then becomes public record.
1 -
If FNAF is added to the game, a significant amount of money will be going directly to this person who supports people with incredibly bigoted views. Vote how you like, but when you're funding people, you don'tget to pick and choose which of their stances you're supporting, and he has supported a LOT of people with aggressive anti-LGBT stances.
When these threads come up, of course they're going to get this stuff brought up, because we want to make it clear to anyone from BHVR reading them that we don't want our money going to someone who supports those views, and we don't want them to support him either.
You don't get to close threads just because they aren't all in support of the side you like, if anything they should be closed just for spamming when the exact same thread is already on the front page, with the exact same points being brought up including by OP. It's that sort of childish behaviour that just reinforces reasons many of us don't want more association with the FNAF fandom.
3 -
Edited it to make it more accurate.
0 -
The doxxing and threatening of his wife and kids was stupid and gross of whoever did so. Scott shouldn’t be able to escape responsibility for his own decisions though.
1 -
Okay, I'm not arguing politics on this Forum
1 -
Yep I’m with you I’m done. Goodnight everyone. Listen to this song. It helps with these situations https://youtu.be/SlKao_Pox5A
2 -
Damn, wish I could just listen to a song to fix people trying to strip away human rights.
1 -
@MandyTalk can we kill this thread for all the politics? dunno if thats a thing.
0 -
Nobody actually cares
1 -
Something I appreciate is how easily bigots will jump to out themselves.
1 -
Lmao no one cares. Stop making things political. That's like saying the entire FNAF fanbase hates LGBTq. People want the character in the game. Nobody cares if you think you feel morally superior to everyone.
2 -
My bad, forgot people like you think LGBT+ people existing is political.
1 -
So you're gonna just act like FNAF and it's fanbase is anti LGBTq because the creator, (who departed from the franchise) donated to Christian charities.
Give me a ######### break. People like you are insufferable.
8 -
??? The game and the fanbase isn't an issue. The issue is the creator would get royalties. I'm sorry you lack empathy to the point considering human rights for minorities is "insufferable" to you. Must be tough.
1 -
Children aside, the current FNAF community is a disgusting cesspool. It's terrible and this community has been going downhill for a while but FNAF would REALLY push that further downhill tbh
1 -
I would actually like someone to explain this to me ,is this Springtrap about furiness and you say cess pool how?
0 -
I didn't break no rules also how was the title vague? I said in the title it was "my thoughts on Springtrap" my thoughts meaning me, no one else just me. And I was talking about FNAF joining dbd
No one forced you to come in. You're upset because I happen to want Springtrap.
0 -
Isn't an issue. You made that very clear it was. I didn't say anything about politics in my discussion. I all I said is that I wanted the character in game that's it.
0 -
Quick question, kinda off-topic but did you buy Pinhead and what do you think of his new voicelines?
0 -
I would also be interested to see that, I like Fnaf, never have been a huge fan but I like the idea and style of these games and I think it would fit into dbd.
3 -
A lot of Republicans are working behind the scenes to turn the clock back on LGBT rights.
I don't think they're actually going to enjoy any degree of success, but they would do it if they could.
Donald Trump himself has said that he wouldn't have a problem supporting a gay president if one was elected. One can argue that his track record on the matter isn't perfect, but that's still a pretty big deal coming from the god of the right-wing party in America, and I think it's a sign that the anti-LGBT agenda is in its death throes, but I don't think it's good to minimize the fact that those people are still out there.
That's all absolutely true, but it's still a messed-up situation just because America is hopelessly a two-party system. What are you supposed to do when neither party aligns exactly with your interests?
I'm bisexual, and I lean towards Democrats on most (but not all) issues. I wanted gay marriage to be legalized, and it was. I wanted marijuana to be legalized, and it was (I was just old enough to cast a vote on the matter, and I did, and we won - proud Coloradan here). At the time, I really had no problem voting Democrat on just about everything, because they mostly supported the things that I did, and the things that they were more against that I supported (such as gun rights) seemed like non-issues.
Nowadays, I think that LGBT rights and marijuana legalization are here to stay, but I'm less sure about gun rights. On top of that, the Democrats are talking about abolishing the filibuster in order to just pass whatever they want, and that's honestly a little scary. Every bit as scary as it would have been if the Republicans had done that when they had the majority, back when Democrats in the House and Senate all signed resolutions expressly supporting the filibuster.
I support the Democrats' voting rights legislation, but I can't in good conscience support them nuking the filibuster in an attempt to get it passed, because it would lead to Democrats also passing a ton of legislation that I definitely don't agree with in addition to the things that I think are more common sense, and a short-sighted move like that would also mean an end to LGBT, abortion, etc. rights just as soon as the Republicans got a majority again.
On the other hand, it looks like the only people I could ally myself with in opposition in an anti-democratic move that would lead to the removal of gun rights in the short term and potentially an attack on LGBT and abortion rights in the long term is a party full of homophobes. I'm wary of that, for obvious reasons.
To play devil's advocate: Should we avoid allowing anyone who has ever supported the Republican party in any capacity whatsoever to make money off of their art, regardless of their personal views? Where does it end?
I realize that political discussion isn't encouraged on the forums, and I'm not trying to start a debate on all of these issues in general (and I also wasn't the one who started this discussion, anyway). I'm just illustrating that the political situation here is complex. It's not like European countries where you get to pick one of fifty parties that might support your views exactly and still have a chance of making it into office. You have two choices, and they're both petty , unwilling to share the country with the other side, and full of selfish, money-grubbing pigs who would implement some very terrible ideas if given free reign to do so.

I agree

So you go off on a rant about human rights and how the people scott supports are evil people and you go off on this political rant and yet were just talking about whether killer robot furry's get into a horror game people like dbd and scott is not indefensible your butt hurt that scott donated to a political party you disagree with I even argued with you in a poll I'm doing why did you think I responded to you alone and not anyone else because you reasoning for voting was so ridiculous I just had to respond to you and plus saying that I lack "empathy" because I called you a sensitive softey and if you love empathy so much than why did people like you dox him and send him death threats that's not empathy so do us all a favor and piss off also your vote will not be considered for the poll.
