That claudette being grabbed after he used For the people on her is my favorite video game villain

I wanna give you worse.
I had Bill. We were playing against Plague. He cleansed first and saved me. And then he gone to cleanse again after saved me. I was sitting on gen. He joined me, after we finished gen he cleansed again. I wanted dc so much.

That's actually true. The survivor skill are seriously low. I can understand someone having a bad chase, get caught in a bad spot etc. But not doing anything (specially generator, the main objective - we don't even have a mission to cleanse totem in this rift) when the killer is on the other side of the map is pretty bad.
My personal one (as killer) : survivor going to the rescue to basement, wait for the hit and then unhook (had BT). The unhooked try to bodyblock (didn't hit him) only to vault to the windows and get grabbed. No DS. Got back to the basement.

Better than pre sbmm for me. Not always perfect, but neither am I.
If I play during the day and early mornings it is better than during evenings (eu).

Im currently in MMR hell. All my teammates don't do generators or much of anything other than stealth, the problem is I cannot raise my MMR because escaping means a team effort, not personal. Tomorrow im going to only hide in lockers with wakeup Clairvoyance to farm escapes I guess since this is the only idea I have to fix this. Very pain, don't got SWF to play with so this is my only option.

These videos were borderline therapeutic for me lol.
That being said, not every instance he complained about is an issue. I run Boon; Shadowstep w/CoH a lot. There are times I've saved team mates by putting up a Boon where they're looping allowing them to mind game the Killer more efficiently.
Other than that, Solo queue is the Clown world of DBD

Playing solo q only since 2017 and nothing really changed. You would be suprised how far you can get if you actually STAY IN THE GAME, not killing yourself on the hook or DC. Also now with MMR (when it works, the teammates you get are like a mirror of yourself), it's very time-depended WHEN you play. In the afternoon and after midnight i do very well with my teams. Could be that some of them are on comms, idk as there isn't an indicator for SWFs yet in the endgame screen, which i really would like to see.
The game isn't that complicated, the basics are quite simple. Do gens, always have Kindred, play smart. That's pretty much it. Sometimes things are happening which aren't in your control. Just except it and move on. And remember: It's just both sides doing their objectives. So if you had a really bad game, switch to killer... and it will be prob worse. LOL.

I actually find this really ironic; when there's a larger volume of survivors, you're matched with worse players than when there's less of them.

It's true though. When I have a day off and manage to play in the morning, my matches are way better. Far better team mates. Sometimes I wonder if it's because it the late afternoon DBD gets bombarded by the after school crowd.

It's true, I just don't know why it's true.

Bond is used to sandbag more than it is to help teammates. Just a matter of fact. 🤷🏼♂️
Also, I feel it’s quite redundant to run more than one information perk as a survivor. You only get four slots after all.
But yeah to OP, solo queue is garbage. One good match for about every five bad ones. Sharing the blame between the other survivors and killers.

Again, my theory is more mature players at certain times of day. The worst time imo is between 5pm and 9pm and gets bad around noon on weekends. I think it corresponds to how many kids are playing. INB4- not saying that all really young teens are bad or anything. Some are probably incredibly skilled. But I notice the levels of altruism fall the more kids are playing randoms. The camping/tunneling goes up. If I get caught being the fourth wheel in 3 man SWF's where every Feng is dressed in her Manic Pixie Pastel Kitty girl cosmetic and they make rash, stupid decisions lol.
I'm sure I've offended at least someone with this opinion, so just to throw it out there- anyone can feel free to disagree with me lol.

so much suffering...so much pain...

Sandbagging is intentionally screwing teammates over. You purposely bring the killer in chase to someone on a gen, open the locker they’re hiding in so the killer knows too, blocking their path of escape from the killer, etc.

Solo-que is pretty bad right now with the event...

Same old solo for me. Win some lose some.
1 -
So it is opposite for you?
I dunno I usually notice that when q's are longer my teammates are really random. My experience is much smoother during the day.
Edit: Sorry if I misunderstood, maybe it is the same for you.
1 -
No- I was trying to say it's the same, actually. At night, when there's a larger volume of survivors and so queue times are much longer, the experience is much worse and seemingly completely random. During the day, when queue times are shorter because there's more killers and less survivors, the experience is somehow better and the games substantially more consistent. Which doesn't logically make sense to my mind.

I have only played solo the past two days. During that time I have managed to adept 17 survivors in 24 matches. So I didn't escape 17 times (1 on Meg, 1 on David, 1 on Ash, 1 on Adam, 1 on Quentin, 2 on Yui). That's a 70% escape rate. Sure some of those times my team was awful or sometimes I got tunneled, but in general solo queue is not as bad as people make it out to be. I did this in three sessions, two at night, one during the day.

So it is not just me then.
My experience is much better since I realised this and play the roles according to time of the day.

Genuinely, consistently awful experience. One or two teammates will always hand the killer a 4k on a silver platter. Players don't think about the situation or macro level gameplay at all.
You don't need comms to know that you shouldn't run towards the hooked survivor if you get found and injured while going for a save and you have two healthy teammates. You just need to think about the situation for all of 2 seconds. Zero reason to even try a 1 for 1 at 3 gens, and it's a 4k if you get downed on the hook. It is literally never the play to try and make a contested unhook while injured when the gens are up. Well guess what survivors will do every single time? The dumb thing.
90% of survivors can't function if the killer is remotely intelligent

This is your exp pal. It depends time of day. I have good teammates before 17.00 but after this, longer queues and bad teammates usually.
And Solo-q is reason of high kill rates. There is a 15% escape difference between Solo-q and SWF.

Still hell on earth.

Not crazy about Bond, I wish you could opt-out of allowing randoms to see your Aura when it's clear they are trolls. It's always that Dwight hiding all game and as soon as he's in chase, he's using Bond to shake The Killer off onto someone with two hooks. Or a Claudette with Empathy.

I love Solo Queue. Would not play the game any other way.
Last night I had some fantastic team mates, and I even managed to up my game a bit and make some good plays. Made some bad ones too, but that's par for the course for my playing.
I find the games where I'm the only "active" person to be a lot of fun though. Get lots of unhooks, and power through some gens, maybe "convince" one of my team mates to follow me around and help me out. It can be trying at times, but having to do better because no one else is doing a damn thing is pretty exhilarating at times. I come out with a healthy chunk of BP, almost always a safety with an occasional pip on my grade, and the joy of knowing I did a decent job.
fwiw, I find using Aftercare to help a bunch because your team mates, especially ones who are also solo or newer, will tend to either assist you with things or purposely come find you to help you when they can see you from across the map. Gotten a lot of good use from it for heals and slamming gens over the past week. Also works nicely when you go in to draw a Killer off, since they can see you and know where to run/pull the Killer so you can take the pressure from them.

My last few solo games have been mostly ok. No real stomps here.
Maybe there is still hope for mmr.
