Is killing yourself on hook bannable ?
Just asking for a friend :)

No.

Good cos i hate nurses and huntresses
1 -
Even though it isn’t bannable, still doesn’t make what you’re doing morally right.
7 -
Nurses and Huntresses are easily the best and most fun chases in the game.
Now Pinheads with mega slowdown builds and franklins......
1 -
Nurse I can understand, but Huntress?
0 -
despite the fact you're straight up griefing your team, its not. doing it when the game is already over is one thing, but if you're doing it "just because you dont like the killer" you're kinda forcing 3 other people to lose by being selfish.
6 -
As per game rules, no. It's just a dick move.
4 -
I won't judge you for killing yourself on the hook due to bad SQ teammates.
1 -
Lol well devs think its ok so its ok i keep doing it :)
0 -
50% reason why i do it
2 -
Its not grieffing :) or else you would be banned for it
1 -
Huntress is boring cos mostly its w+shift
0 -
No, and rightfully not. If they didn’t want it to be an option, it wouldn’t be in the game.
1 -
So forcing a 3v1 with 5 gens left simply because you don't like facing a killer isn't griefing, even though you're basically putting them into a near-unwinnable game? At least DC and take your punishment.
2 -
If you're willing to ragequit on hook just because you don't like the killer, you are one of said teammates btw.
3 -
^^^
2 -
Just pretend you're going for the Steam achievement.
2 -
Lmao why would i dc? until they say suiciding is against rules i will keep doing it :)
0 -
I believe losing the game on purpose is a reportable offense.
0 -
no, but pretty much everyone you play with is gonna hate you.
you do you though.
2 -
I'm pretty sure it's not, but it's still a pathetic move when done because of selfish reasons such as "I don't like the Killer" or "My teammates are garbage"
3 -
I believe that may only apply to dc's
2 -
DC’s already come with penalties. Don’t think they’re reportable?
0 -
If it's not, it should be.
You're completely screwing over your team and denying the killer BP because they...chose to play a killer that you don't enjoy facing.
It may not be bannable, but it's a really crappy thing to do. I like to think that karma will eventually catch up to these people and they'll always have someone else DC or suicide when they really need a win.

TWINS!
0 -
On that same note, is failing fifty skill checks in a row bannable?
2 -
Are you trolling on here? Cause you’re definitely trolling your teammates when you do that. Solo Que is hard as it is. You’ll get better going against those two if you stay in the game as long as you can. Trust me. You’d be surprised how many games you can survive and turnaround after a very shaky start. The momentum can always swing in the survivors favor.
Try to work on that “giving up so easily” mentality- it’s not healthy.

Yes. Twins.

i find playing against nurse fun. Huntress on the other hand……. I’m gonna be honest I hate her. I find her super boring to play against since I face so many of them. The killers I have seen the most recently: Huntress (hate), bubba (hate), blight (good one), pig (hate), pinheadS (good one), plagues (depends on the team) and hags (absolutely despise) just my opinion tho

I don't often kill myself, but yesterday I had a game that made me straight up do it. I was hooked twice, struggling, and I was the only person who had gotten chased the entire game and in that time only one gen was done.
As I saw everyone's aura readings I saw one person exit a locker, and move into an adjacent one. And two other people hiding behind rocks staring in my general direction. One person was close enough for the rescue and the Huntress had left, but they were still waiting for their 'opportunity.' The other person on the other side of the map just stayed where she was. Unmoving.
I decided 'Nah that's okay.' and suicided.
I spectated the game and got to watch the most boring 20 minutes of my life as the Killer had to patrol the map looking for that one pixel that would betray the survivors location. Everyone was allergic to generators, everyone was Solid Snake, and it was definitely more worth it to watch as the killer systematically destroyed one after another. She found the hatch, closed it, and killed the last survivor as she was opening the door.
By the end of this, there were 3 gens left.

Tunneling is also morally wrong, doesn't stop it from being the most efficient tactic in the game. "Moral wrongness" was never an argument in this game.
0 -
At least tunneling is a valid strategy to winning, same as gen rushing. Suiciding on hook screws over your teammates and ruins the whole fun of the match. You only do it because something doesn’t go your way.

This is about my opinion as survivor too. I'm just tired of Blights and Huntresses. I actually enjoy facing Hags, due to how rare they are - but Hag is very much 'either she gets an early down and cascades to a victory or we finish all the gens in 4 minutes and escape without her getting a hook, then I feel bad and give her a pity kill'.
Pinhead is great to face, aside from the fact that so many survivors just instantly DC the second they see him.
The only killers I genuinely go 'ugh' when I see are Bubbas (camping), Huntress (boring), Trickster (irritating) and Wraiths (I feel bad for them).
1 -
Huntress has dropped to F tier. She’s just boring to play against. And the devs put out the stats. She’s the killer that is played the most🤮
1 -
Suiciding on hook is the most optimal strategy to go to the next game faster.
1 -
Franklin's yes...mega slowdown no.
With me.

It's what you do when the killer is an A-hole and you don't give an f anymore
Happens to me a lot
1 -
Usually it's the latter option.
0 -
I bet your fun at parties.
1 -
Which means you're going to get even worse teammates. There's no good reason to ######### unless you want to give someone Hatch
0 -
Nope!
1 -
No, because players are explicitly told not to report DCs because the system automatically handles that.
