The weird thing about some of these responses is forgetting BT bodyblocking is a thing. You don't need to tunnel to run into BT.

The fancy dressed and bold Boil Over at the bar elbows Breakout besides him and they both toast the rejected perks, laughing their (BAD WORD)s off, before they try to make the cute CoH at the bar hum to their tune.

Lethal to immediately put pressure on the survivor(s) of his choice, BBQ to immediately teleport to survivors on/near gens after a hook, and teleport ability to get in range for DH tokens.
Seems fine to me even without gen slowdown perks.

Definitely not fine, freddy is more or less M1 killer and he don't have any innate slowdown, quick chase ability or map wide pressure.
while chasing first survivor for 40 seconds or so (which is pretty much mandatory btw thanks to pursuer) devour hope gonna be cleansed and at least a gen gonna pop, after that you are pretty much no perk m1 killer which only has dream palettes as his power... I can't believe he got 2k with it, that's unbelievable performance for such build I think.

That's the thing I didn't run any slowdown perks and these swfs want to run all meta second chance perks. I was lucky to get 2 kills.

I'd say 3 dead hard and a prove thyself is much bigger problem than bt and ds, at least you can counter those.

Tunneling and camping is an effective strategy in most matches. I like chases and snowballing. Honestly these survivors just wasted a perk slot because I didn't tunnel at all.

I can understand Decisive Strike and Borrow Time. Both are kinda needed when you do not want to get tunneled or safe a camped teammate. Not problem here. If people abuse them: Wait for Borrow Time, slug against Decisive Strike. A downed survivor can not do generators and if you chase another one you got 3 people occupied.
Dead Hard is an issue because there are little to no other perks that are used here. It gets boring pretty fast to bait a Dead Hard every time, have them use it for distance or wait for a window. At least the hit validation is better now so that you just get a missed attack with no scream or blood most times.
Overcentralization is boring period for me...

That's some comical exaggeration, unless you mean "90% of Killers run at least one of these slowdowns". Because they don't [BAD WORD] synergise with each other, so at most you're taking two of the damn things.

I don't understand the complaint here. DS is a terrible perk unless the killer tunnels, BT is extremely situational. Killer got a 2K, so the match was pretty fair both ways.
What, are they supposed to just nerf survivors until 4Ks become the norm?

If you don't tunnel you usually don't even notice DS or BT.

I think you have a very strange definition of "slowdown" if you've managed to include tinkerer and NOED in the list. Hell, even Corrupt and DMS are a big if, because you're then lumping gen regression in with blocking.

Survivors are using BT and DS because they are the only counters to tunneling and face-camping. Survivors are completely helpless if they don't run those perks.
That's not being sweaty, running BT and DS, that's wanting to have a chance to play the game instead of staring at a Killers face for 2 minutes.
