its pain itd be cool if the hatch spawned opened and whoever gets to it first gets to escape then it shuts and kills the other survivor lol. Or if killer finds it it kills them both

its impossible to do the gens so it starts a 20 minute hide and seek game

Or... they could try to do the gens and die anyways. They're the ones that got themselves into that situation. Refusing to even try to do gens at all in that situation is against the rules.

Honestly, the hatch changes really sucked, I think they should've nerfed it but not delete it entirely, I wish they'd change it back.

Escaping before all gens were finished when it wasn't only one person left was busted.

well no one does and no ones been banned for not doing gens before. If you've played solo Q you know no one has ever been banned for not doing gens

You should re-read what I said. I said it's against the rules. I didn't say it means a ban will happen. BHVR has explicitly stated it is against the rules and is reportable with video evidence, as it falls under refusal to participate in normal gameplay and keeping the game hostage by their standards. Whether or not they do anything about it is on a case-by-case individual basis.

I totally agree but I also think to an extent, the killer has some control over it like bringing Franklin's if they're carrying it in the lobby. I mostly wish you could find hatch as easy as it was before since even when the exit gates are powered, hatch doesn't spawn so it feels impossible to find it before EGC and if your teammates leave, if you get downed, it's instadeath with no second chance.

Well what good is against the rules when bans don't happen for it. Also its still miserable when its last 2 so just do gens is still waste of everyones time it feels like.

That wasn't a viable option, because self-dropping the key for later prevented that anyways. Furthermore, because key escapes were instantaneous, it made 3-gen situations practically pointless, because they could just escape regardless. I would be okay with the hatch spawning closed once all five gens were completed as an additional option to the current (when only one person is left in the trial), but that's about it. People should not be able to escape if they haven't finished their objective. Moris work in the same manner. They have to be on death hook and already downed. Like finishing all five generators and having the gates powered. It's just you finish it off differently. Mori instead of a third hook. Hatch instead of gates.
Then give up and die if you refuse to play?

It's not impossible to do the gens when there's 2 people alive. First of all, there could be only half a gen left at that point, one of the 2 survivors could be a god at looping and able to keep the killer in chase for 3 minutes and so on..
There are too many variables at play, you cannot say that every time there is only 2 survivors alive the game is over.
Plus as someone else pointed out yeah, not doing gens and only hiding around for an extended period of time is considered taking the game hostage, and that is a bannable offense, at least according to what mods say.

I say opposite, they should've deleted hatch entirely and reveal all survivors instead because that is literally nothing but a pity escape for a team who didn't succeed.

I always give last survivor chance at the hatch, unless they're dicks then I don't feel bad slugging for 4k.
