I find it unfair that it is necessary to pay in addition to the fault the chapter saw
I mean that in the archive some challenges is for pigi and for inspector tapps, the only problem is that if you don't have the dlc you can't do the challenges which means that the devs force you to buy the chapter saw so that you can do all the challenges of the archive, it's unfair.

Aren't those challenges replaced with normal ones if you don't own the DLC? If not that is kinda scummy.

I mean you can still reach the epilogue, so really youre just missing out on a few rift shards and bp

You can progress rift and tome even without that dlc, those challenges are not in the way.
And the dlc is on sale so its not really that crazy expensive

Its not unfair to have to pay for additional content. Its the economic system that the western world is built on.
You can reach the epilogue and progress the rift without the paid content.
Its just within the rift there is chapter related tasks and as this is a licensed chapter then you'll need to have that license to do them. Sounds perfectly above board to me.
Anyone who's ever worked frontline customer service knows the "I'm a customer I deserve free stuff!" person, they are universally hated... don't be that person.

More or less you can finish archive without DLC.

My only issue I find is that the free section of the rift rewards is very bare and empty compared to previous tome rewards......in regards to the if it's right for them to have a tome connected to a DLC Killer/Survivor.....No, because you can progress through the tome normally even if you don't have the DLC like I'm previous tomes.

The game is financed with you buying stuff.
If you only buy the game and nothing else they would go bankrupt.

So whats your issue? The same with every tome so far. If you dont have the characters you cant do their challenges. And its not like you would need to do all challenges to get to the end of the pass.

Completing all challenges earns new archive cosmetics faster, so it blocks players who don't have money to buy a chapter.

the 2 or 3 challenges that can't be done really aren't gonna make much of a difference. they put the necessary perks in the shrine as well.
