Behavior we need more MONSTER horror killers
With stranger things now gone we have no monster type chars there are so many to pull from and granted i realize its probably a lot harder to balance especially if they dont walk on 2 legs. There just has to be a way you could do it horror is so much more than just humanoids please start giving us some killers that feel a bit more out there in how they move attack and chase. Even the blob would be fine with me lol i just want to see you guys test more interesting ideas like a Eldritch horror anyways guys what are some good monster minions they could pull from any media or pictures would be fine but we need to give them some ideas so they dont continue to stay in their safe space

Even monsters can have traumatic emotional driven lore; subjects of torture and experiments, cryptid alone and hunted to the point of retaliation, or bred and conditioned for violence
We need more creatures with personality

Yeah lol. Jokes aside, If we were to get a monster type killer, Xenomorph would probably be the next fit. An expensive license, sure but he is the most fit for Dbd.

Fiddlesticks

What about a werewolf, special ability is short burst of speed on all fours, and a serious roar voiceline. Not some kiddy one, a dark beasty looking werewolf

Im honestly good for anything thats not humanoid in design a werewolf is close but still a bipedal monster. Like if it could run on all 4 limbs sure

Mothman

How about a giant spider? It has 2 main abilities, 1. Lay webs, survivors move very slowly on them but The Arachnid moves faster on them. 2. Climb walls, The Arachnid can hold a button and climb walls getting the jump on survivors in high walled loops and having excellent surveillance opportunities to find survivors. They could even repurpose Demo's "up and over" vault animation as it would make sense for a giant spider to do this.

I like that idea maybe too the spider could web gens so youd need to remove the webs on it before you could repair it as well

A graboid might be too hard but there are other cool monsters in that series. Id love to see a graboid though.

Oh, if tremors burt has to be the survivor hands down😆 love that dude

The reason there's no monster killer is because they'd have to create entirely new models, meshes, animations etc. Demo got an exception because Netflix provided many of these things so it was not an extra workload on development.

I completely know the pipeline and its not out of the question for them to create that but every new char is a new model animation and meshes. What i think you mean is the bone and rigging setup is different which i get takes more time to do but its not something that needs to be rushed if they plan for it. This game just needs a little bit more variety

There's so much potential. Werewolf, vampire, killer robot, undead pirate, the list goes on.

Something i remember hearing Cote talk about a good while back in an interview regarding licensed killers is that all killers that comes into the game have to follow certain ground rules for it to work. (such as being able to chase someone, hitting them upclose with a weapon, picking them up and carry them, hooking them, interacting with things such as pallets/windows/lockers.) While you can make aesthetic changes to how the character is portrayed doing those actions, they still have to be able to do those actions in the end regardless.
That's why humanoid creatures works the best.

I've said it before and I'll say it again

Yes, that's all I have to say is just, yup, 100% agree. I can't wait for that giant spider from the tomes to be a killer. :D

i loved that film lol

Tremors? Well they would just ignore any pallet mechanic lol

Nah, i dont need anything else like Demodoggo. This game isnt about monsters. Its about humans. If you wanna see monsters go play monster hunter. Or pokemon.

I'm surprised no one mentioned this guy
