Your impressions about the Nurse
It's been a few days that I read people's feedback on this forum, and I feel like they don't really enjoy playing her.
So, do you like playing the Nurse?
If you don't, why?

I'm not a Nurse player because she's really hard to learn and I think that's why a lot of people don't enjoy her.
She requires the highest skill to play out of all the Killers, but she is also the most devastating when played correctly. Played incorrectly, she can be one of the worst Killers. It is all mechanical skill with Nurse and not many people who play this game have that.
Survivors also dislike her because she essentially ignores the two biggest things in the game: windows and pallets. However, to say you cannot use these things against the Nurse isfoolhardy. You cannot use them in the traditional sense and it's pretty much all mindgames when it comes to escaping a Nurse.6 -
I hated her until I got the hang of her the last few days, now I love her.

Î don't dislike Nurse because she's hard to play, I dislike her because it's both dull and tedious.
Dull because you have basically 1 gameplan, that is mostly randomly roam and hook repeatedly with some slugging once they go full altruistic, and tedious because you keep watching at your own feet for half of the round.6 -
She is really good once you master her.everyone says it is difficult to do so but don't let that fool you. Something clicked for me overnight and I mastered her. I love the nurse5

The Nurse is prefect for when you have gotten destroyed like 6 games in a row from SWF. For me, she's a great way to let off some steam.

The Nurse May have a tough learning curve, but she's for sure the scariest to play against.

unfun for both sides imo. I'd rather play freddy than play the nurse. Not because i can't play her, i can do decently as her it just sucks to play her because i hate her fatigue animation and i just dislike the ability to bypass all survivor utility. From a survivor perspective i just find playing against a good nurse, insanely difficult and it is stressful(ironic, a survivor complaining about their job being stressful xD). I don't fear her I just find her annoying, Myers is the only killer i get scared by and that is on rare occasions. Whenever i hear blinks i just try to be a gen ######### and get the ######### out of there, it is the only thing i can do for some nurses.

you're taking about the best killer in the game so you don't play this killer for fun , you play it to stop some ######### players from t-bag near the open gates.

I always liked her. I watched Tru3Ta1ent’s streams for For Honor first, but then saw him play DBD and out of all Killers, I saw Nurse, and wanted to play her the most. I found her so interesting. I love punishing games, and nothing is more punishing than missing your Blinks. However, hitting your Blinks is unbelievably rewarding.
She is the only Killer I can play, and not feel cheated playing as. If I lose, it was my own fault and inadequacy at Blinks. All other Killers, I feel cheated by Looping. Losing simply because my hit box is bigger is horrifically infuriating. Getting outplayed is fine, getting hit box cheesed is not.
Likewise, I don’t Loop Killers when I play Survivor. Looping takes the thrill and the fun out of the game because it’s so ultra safe to do. I like facing a Nurse. However, I play on PS4, so a good Nurse is hard to come by. I only ever face daily ritual Nurses that have zero idea how to blink. I call them “Floaters” because all they do is hit you, then float behind you building Bloodlust. Then plop you on a hook and pitch a tent. Which as a Nurse Main myself, REALLY irritates me... all that power and ability at your finger tips if you just learn to use her... and you just do that.
I find her fun, challenging, and rewarding to play as and (if she’s good) against her.5 -

Wow... I feel like I am the only one that truly enjoys playing her.
I don't mind the fatigue, because that comes with her power. And for the power, I think it's one of the most original things I have ever seen in a videogame. A character that teleports through walls based on how long she charges her power.
And that scream! I love her screams! And also, her breathing sound is one of the few breathing sounds that don't annoy me.
It sounds like a fetish now lol.
She is my baby I will take care of until the death of me or DbD.Post edited by popoles on5 -

I wouldn’t call it bypassing. Many consider it bypassing but the thing is, she doesn’t. She changes them into mind games. You have to predict what she’s going to do, just as she has to predict what you’re going to do. Problem is that most Survivors are so used to using Pallets and windows in the most straightforward way, they don’t know how to use them any other way. You don’t just “hop window, drop Pallet, I’m safe” fake window vault. Run past the Pallet, immediately double back, drop, slide if needed.Your right, it is a mindgame. However, an experienced nurse will win the mindgame 9/10 times easily, at least on PC that's how it is. If the survivor is close two short blinks can cover any sort of trick they can do(Most of the time). The nurse can also just look at the ground if she wants to cancel her blink too so that is a lot of utility.

I don't have the mechanical skill to play her.
When I'm survivor though, she's one of two Killer's that still utterly terrifies me. (The other is Myers) But the thing is, I like it. When I'm up against a nurse, the game actually feels like it should as a survivor... like I'm the weakling and should be afraid of the killer.
All killers need to feel like that.

So, do you like playing the Nurse?
She hard-counters The Benny Hill Show bs. It makes her the only truly fun killer to play imho.
