The misery that is dbd
Killer is slow, clunky, and most of the time you find yourself doing more walking than chasing.
How many times have you been in a chase and lose chase music mid chase 2 or 3 times in a single chase and therefore any chance of catching up or bloodlust in a practical amountof time?
How many times has one ridiculous pallet set up force you to break it by being so grossly safe, and breaking 1 pallet gave said survivor so much distance you just give up the chase? Or better yet, it's end game, and it's the same situation but they are running to the exit gate and that same 1 pallet allows them so much distance the get to the exit gate?
How many times do you load into a match with a particular build, and don't even get the chance to play the game bc 3 gens pop in the first 2 minutes and the games already over from a realistic standpoint and snowballing end game kills isn't what you wanted to do so you give up your idea on how you wanna play and sweat for a single end game kill?
How many times have you successfully outplayed a survivor, only to be unfairly screwed over by a dead hard to that God pallet, or that dirty window loop. Or better yet, an instaheal or some silly perk like for the people?
How many times have you spent entire matches simply trying to catch up to someone, having broken 100 pallets instead, manage 3 hooks and a face full of taunting at the exit gate because the survivors are to dense or ignorant to see the maps are designed to safely carry them around for ages and they mistake it for simply pure skill instead?
When the smoke clears, you sit there with that 1 kill maybe 2 and ponder to yourself... well that sucked. Why do I keep doing this? I should just play something else that was miserable....
Then you wait a minute or 2... and for some ungodly reason you decide to load into another match because maybe this time.... this time...
It'll be different .

Dead hard needs a hard nerf

This is not a game design fault. This is matchmaking fault. I win at least 80% of my games as killer and feel sorry for baby survs. I should win only 50% if SBMM was working correctly. If you lose too much, it's because you are baby killer and matchmaking fails at matching you with baby survivors.

100% this. My win rate is similar or higher on killer. I don't understand why I keep getting complete babies relative to my skill level when at the same time a lot of killers seem to be completely overmatched/overwhelmed. SBMM doesn't seem to be matching anyone correctly. It's going off of queue time and nothing else.

Its because we continue to chase the fun games hoping the next one will be just around the corner. If you want a chuckle have a look at "my life as a killer, short story for both sides to enjoy" in discussion. I wrote for a bit of a laugh. Dont let it get to you.

I never counted how many times those things have happened.

This was my experience a bit ago, but now it's completely random and I couldn't be having more fun. I really do think the game just needs to can any form of ranking, pub stomping is a self correcting problem, even the most devoted of pub stompers will get sick of it.

I find I have the most fun cause I don't give a rats booty if I win or lose.
Look at it like playing a 1.00 scratch off ticket. Your having fun scratching it off. If you don't win you Look at it and say oh well did not win, and throw it away. If you win 5 dollars your like, hey cool I won 5 dollars.
If you look at your games like that, it will be more fun. At the end of the day, it's just a game
Win some, lose some.
