Are you excited for the Ringu Chapter?
It's only 1 month until the Ringu chapter comes out and I'm excited for that license but there is a 6th anniversary on the way and I will be more fun to have another new chapter.
Are you guys excited for this chapter to come up? Share your ideas with this new chapter and hopefully that it will make it more exciting for this hyped up chapter.

Not really, I don't care what the Killer is, I care what their power is. From the movies it looks like they are forced to do some kind of teleporting power, which isn't in my eyes very exciting. Also from the last number of Killer powers, there weren't any exciting ones other than Twins, which we know how they ended up.

My hope is Nurse 2.0. But my brain tells me it's probably another recycled "hold M2 to fake/zone or use power+tacked on utility" killer with a low skill cap.
I'm more excited for any changes to existing killers and QoL changes to existing mechanics and the grind.

Samara (or her original Japanese counterpart, I don't really care) was an old dream of mine. I would be very excited...if this damn game was still worth playing.
Why didn't you get this license earlier, BHVR?

Not particularly but The Ring was never a movie I got all that into. Like...it was good but it didn't really go beyond being a good horror movie. It's nowhere near the iconic that Freddy or Michael or Jason is.
I'll get it assuming I haven't finally wised up and quit forever by the release but I'm no more excited for this than any other killer release.

I’m definitely more interested in this IP than I was Resident Evil and Silent Hill, The Ring is a great movie. (Yeah I know, Ringu is slightly different, but close enough.) Also I’m curious to see what they do for her Curse style ability.

New killer always has some level of excitement (perks, power, look) but for some reason this one feels stale to me. Perhaps it's the super early announcement, state of game, or that Ringu is in DBD before Alien, Pennywise, Jason, etc.

Having such a major J-horror IP like ring joining the game is very much exciting for me, hope Juon and other J-horror movies will be coming to the game aswell in the future.

Im not that exited for the ringu its not because they announce the chapter early but mostly because she get release right after elden ring.
If the game was in a better state i would still play the game meaning i would be hype for the ringu.

I'm pretty excited for it as I do prefer the licensed chapters over the original ones(the licensed IP's are really the only things keeping me still playing honestly) and, I'm not even a big fan at all of the Ringu/Ring stuff. I do however like Sadako and I'm VERY curious on just how they're going to make this work in game.

Nope. I have no faith in this team anymore. Shame, could be a cool chapter, but tgis team is too full of their own perceived greatness to realize they keep adding more crap to a pile of crap, therefore making it a bigger, smellier pile of dung.

Hopefully its a teleport, but at fixed locations around the map, old tvs. Players might avoid the area but if they are spread out it means fast travel

Don't know anything about it other than its a Japanese Horror.
I'd rather they actually had some Saw cosmetics in the "Saw chapter" other than those behind a pay wall.
Seems silly to have free stuff for Billy, but not whom the chapter is about.

I'm intrigued by Sadako and how they did adapt her to DBD. I'm definitely not excited about the inevitable bugs and unwarranted killer nerfs coming along though.

Most licensed killers suck. They either zone or they're stealth killers. Many of them are weak and boring. Most times they're both.

It's hard to get excited for the next chapter when there's plenty of issues currently existing in the game that make it hard to even want to play it.

I'm not excited for Ringu at all. If anything, I dislike that they mentioned it at all since it was just after Artist was released.
But, I'm still just wanting a damn health patch for a chapter. Way too many bugs to count, like Nurse STILL being unable to blink through hills, survivor STILL not making noise on the ground, Iron Will STILL removing footsteps as well and their servers causing you to be either hit from a mile away, or have a hit that should of landed to be completely ignored.
They need to stop bloating the game with more stuff and start focusing on what they have. It's like they're making a chicken soup, but instead of adding seasoning, they're dumping in more potatoes.
