Why is Hag so underrated?
When talking about best killers in the game it's always Nurse and Blight and then Spirit but no one talks about Hag, ever.
She is my #1 most hated killer to go against probably but holy moly is she powerful. She is probably the only killer that does not need perks to actually 4k even in higher ranks, and once she sets up her 3 gen perimeter or has a basement hook it's mostly gg.
I started playing her recently and almost all of my matches are pretty much 4k, it's like survivors are struggling to go against her because she is so rare, like people never crouch when going for the unhook, I adore rusty shackles and those surprise grabs are one of my favorite things to do lol.
Also I am having so much fun with plaything / monitor abuse type of perks with her, you can tell people are just lost and do not what to do and I am everywhere at once xD
So why does it feel like no one plays her?
Also Hag mains, feel free to share some fun builds. :D

Nobody plays her because many people find her power/playstyle boring
You have to play her differently to the majority of the killers, given her power and such.
Typically I run STBFL, Sloppy Butcher, Pain resonance & Monitor. That's my go to build

I don't think Hag is underrated. Otz has her in S Tier on his most recent killer list for instance and Oh Tofu has her at A Tier. And I'm pretty sure there's a lot of people who agree with them.
To be fair, I think both those tier lists were made before Circle of Healing came out, so it's possible she went down a bit because of that.

Hag is pretty good against solos, but of course not as strong as Blight or Spirit, and not even close to Nurse. Hags strength is that few play her and that also means a lot of survivors don't know how to counter her. But overall a decent killer.

Hag isn't underrated a single bit. Everyone know's she's almost as good as Nurse, Blight and Spirit

she is not underrated, she is extremely boring to play against and as for most people. thats it.

I know how to play against her but sometimes crouching doesn't really help, especially if her trap is too close to the hook and it activates right after unhooking.
Most Hags I played against using Franklin's, making the game miserable and many of us not really trying to win against her.
Maybe she is fun to some but many finds her boring.

IMO she's actually overrated. Once you know how to counter her by constantly popping her traps and harassing her from the beginning of the game, she gets cucked pretty damn hard, and the more flashlights the survivors have the weaker her proxy camp is. She does have massive comeback potential with a basement hook against altruistic survivors though.
She can be a strong killer, but not consistent against the better survivor teams. I'd say she's S tier against unorganized lower-skill survivors, and B to C Tier against top level survivors.

she's such a bullyable killer to the point where if survivors start ######### up your web at the start of the game its gonna be incredibly hard to come back.

Because she is boring and playing scummy is the correct way of playing her. The same thing happens with Twins.

She's not underrated. Every tier list I've seen puts her at least in low A tier. It's just general consensus she sucks to play as and against, pretty much like Twins.

That is why every team should have one survivor running towards the killer first thing. If it's Hag that could be game over for the killer, while the teams just going to the closest gen in the beginning have to deal with a finished net of traps which is often game over for the survivors.
And survivors destroying traps don't need flashlights when they can just run to the edge of where traps go off and straight to a loop, and also destroy traps when Hag is to far away or when picking up a survivor. But of course to have flashlights along with these other knowledge of destroying traps is very powerful against Hag.
Hag is so strong against solos since solo players seldom takes on that role of observer and "destroyer". They play against Hag like they play against other killers which is a big mistake.

She got powercrept a bit by Twins, who do most of what Hag does but better. Wouldn't say she's underrated though. If Twins are high A tier (which they should be), Hag is solidly A tier as well.

Shes very boring sadly.

One of the few killers that regularly jump scares me.

She isn’t really underrated but pretty boring on both sides. Might as well play The Twins or Bubba if you want to camp.
The Hag relies too much on her traps to get anywhere, which have many counters. If she isn’t using her traps in game, she is just a 110m/s killer with no power.

hag is not really underrated, I feel like everyone knows she's like top 5 strongest killers right now

CoH is a hard counter to her gameplay. You used to Tele and hit someone. Then if they weren't healed you would down them on second Tele. Now they just always run to CoH so you either have to commit on a 110 speed killer which can take forever or you don't get downs.

She falls apart against higher MMR SWFs. Otherwise, she's fun. I've been maining her and enjoy her prediction playstyle. Flashlights and crouching counter her.
I use Franklin's on her and I hear STBFL is really good.

Cause she is really boring to play, I dont know about you but when i play hag i usually get atleast a 2k but its the most boring experience ever
id rather play boring crow lady
that saying she is not as boring as trapper

My issue with her is the micro-freeze when teleporting, which robs me of the insta hits she lives on. Most likely due to to the game performance on my aging Xbox. Quite fustrating with her.

Too many people play How Many Traps Can I Put Next to the Hook with Hag, so she's boring AF to face. Against a good Hag, the match can quickly snowball into a complete disaster unless you're in a coordinated 4-man, who tend to play far and above your average player's ability anyways.
It pains me deeply everytime I play against a Hag and think this is going to be an awesome match trying to figure out her web and beat her, then I watch Lisa put down 5 traps around the hook. I almost want to DC at that point because I know they are either meme'ing or just really bad.
She is easily S Tier against solo and most SWF, but she suffers greatly against any coordinated team because they can quickly have someone either call out her traps (like Trapper) or else use a flashlight to break them. They also know that crouching complete defeats her power. This is part of the boredom people talk about though, because they can't run everywhere and do things quickly. They have to take a little time to crouch occasionally to avoid traps.

Most people play her completely wrong... she has to be played a very specific campy way

How she can be S tier? by camping?

Which is really annoying because then they will go love on the most boring and generic killers in the game. No we dont need another legion or ghostface player, they are both boring for both sides and i dont see how anyone finds them fun.

Setting up a web of traps is like a good trapper on steroids.

That simply isnt true lol

"By many counters"
Girl she has two counters and one of which relies on an item.
0 -
But isn't it worse trapper because she can only hit survivors herself, and has to hit twice anyway?
0 -
Not really. If you know where she placed traps, you can go and trigger them when she is about to hook a survivor. Not many players do this one.
SWF. They will just call out where she placed a trap.
Hold w when she is placing a trap at a loop.
Trust me, Hag has a lot of counters, many players just decide not to do them or know how to play against her.

I haven't seen either of those in an eternity lol
But I personally like playing Legion because run fast + stabby = good
0 -
Not exactly. You get 10 of those suckers (if I remember correctly) that can't be disarmed by survivors and are extremely quick to set up. Having to hit survivors yourself doesn't matter, really. If you teleport quickly enough and click m1, it's going to be a hit no matter what you do. The survivor's camera also locks onto the phantasm the trap spawns when triggered, which can be used by good hags to great effect.
Sure, having to hit survivors twice is bad, but with perks like Sloppy Butcher and STBFL, you can keep survivors injured and be able to react quickly if a survivor runs into another trap while you're recovering from an attack.
CoH hurts Hag a lot, though.

She as bullyable as the trapper when he get his traps sabo.
0 -
I mean you could say that but it doesnt really matter. Besides any really smart survivor can easily disable a bear trap while if you are in chase avoiding hag traps is really hard to pull off
0 -
Which is why people should play here more so people actually learn how to go against her

I actually feel it is the opposite. She is really overrated as a killer. Great for beginners, but beyond that, well... There is a reason only Hag enthusiasts rock her.
