What do you get out of clicking
Flashlights useful...kinda hard to master but easy to understand but in the wrong hands they become a tool of an easy kill. Why do people click their flashlights they don't even try blinding or anything they just click and end up dead so why bring a flashlight.

So promptly ignore them and tunnel their trash friend out of the game.

It's psychological warfare. They are slowly breaking down your will to fight back. :)

Most people do it to try and entice you into a chase. I usually give them 30 seconds and if I see they're good at looping or running a looping build I'll usually just let them run around wasting their time and tunnel the weak teammates out the game & deal with them later.
Funny thing is though 50% of the time they're absolute garbage at looping and you can pretty much tell if you're going to down them in the first 15-20 secs. If that happens I'll usually tunnel them out the game for being annoying and to prevent any flashlight saves later in the game.
I guess it works on baby killers so some people get carried away thinking they're the dogs bollocks, but the reality is they just end up looking silly when facing better killers.
