Cutting off at 3 the picture is good enough. As always there is a chance of a mistake here or there like a perk left out on accident.
Killers don't seem to have as much perk variety options.
Also the top 4 were also the most common build used.

Soooo... do we need to nerf BBQ? Rofl.
0 -
Funny enough, I can almost guarantee BBQ would be used less if the grind was reduced. Its just hands down the best BP perk in the game, and WGLF doesn't even come close on survivor side.
11 -
I use BBQ for the knowledge it gives me. The bp is just a bonus.
3 -
I'm opposite, information it gives is just a bonus.
7 -
on some killers, yeah. The info is good on people like Huntress, Billy, Blight, etc. A lot of other killers benefit from other perks much more, especially with how limiting the current meta is.
1 -
Nah, I probably wouldn't use BBQ if it didn't have the BP boost. I feel like its popularity would shrink at least 50% of it didn't have it.
With that being said the most popular killer perk appears in 57.5% of matches whereas the most popular survivor perk appeared in 86% of matches. That being Deadhard.
2 -
Interesting how there's nothing even close to the dominance that DH has for survivors, almost like it's a busted perk with no equivalents on killer side.
0 -
All 6 uses are post buff i know that much
0 -
Be interesting to combine that with what killer's you faced.
Even if was just a count, might explain some numbers, like your iron maiden count is most likely from Huntress or Trickster?
1 -
I am kind of surprised that Tinkerer came in at a mere #13.
0 -
Because we have better perks now. I swapped Tinkerer with PR.

Top 5 contains 4 gen slowdown perks.
Top 10 contains 3 perks specifically to get a last kill before survivors escape.
If the devs don't see this as an issue, than I don't know what they'll see as one.
1 -
The usage of BBQ would drop to 0 if they'd remove the bloodpoint bonus.
Bitter Murmur is far superior than BBQ in regard of aura reading.
0 -
4 strong gen slowdowns at the top but DH is the problem. 😭
Add DMS into the mix because everyone uses it.
0 -
Not surprising, it's always been like that for 5 years. Killers lack natural ability to gather info and slow the game down and whatever nautral skills killers have in those regards come with huge consequences. Example, Legion can find all 4 Survivors with Frenzy but it's not guaranteed he can hit them and then he has to eat the Fatigue, eat the Cooldown and play with no power... Brilliant design right?
0 -
They're not even comparable. 90% of Killers need slowdown to make the game last more than 5 minutes, and all slowdown Perks are counterable. Dead Hard isn't needed to play, nor is it counterable when used correctly
3 -
there is more than 40% difference between usage rate of DH and those slowdown perks.
0 -
With the current meta of gap closer killers i guess it's seen as necessity. Still makes me laugh though the fails i see with it, had a good one on Crotus pen, dead hard up the ramp but still have to vault the window and ate a hatchet.
Huntress mains love BBQ, most even use Bitter and nurses as well.
All about that info for snipes.
0 -
But the aura reading alone wouldn't justify taking it as a perk. On it's own it's simply to weak.
0 -
Nice work. Thanks.

With her slow movement speed, i'd lose to much time guessing were survs are, so yes bbq is good.
0 -
No, they don't "need" slowdowns for being good.
I only use pop sometimes on weak killers and corrupt on Myers. Haven't use Ruin like over 3 years now. I'm not addicted to slowdowns, I learnt the difficult way and my games aren't 5 mins because I adapted long time ago.
0 -
I'm genuinely interested if you can stream because that's god-tier killer player, as long as you aren't playing against lowest MMR or tunneling/camping ######### outta em or playing facecamp rancor NWO thing.
Since you "learnt the difficult way" and "adapted long time ago", I'm pretty sure you are playing above 99% of killers level at pretty high MMR... right?
0 -
Survivors adapted aswell. ShiftW became the new meta, looping isn't the most efficient strat anymore. The only reason looping is still a thing is because of how overpowered Dead Hard is. If it got nerfed, you'd only see Overcome and Sprint Burst, which will ultimately kill any amount of looping. Slowdown is absolutely needed when tunneling is forced and Killers can only focus on 1 Survivor at a time and 3-Gen doesn't work anymore due to the same Perk, that being CoH

Who said Im a god-tier killer, god tier mmr or I 4k every single time? You said it.
Im doing very good pretty much without slowdowns and Im proud. Survivors also acknowledging that Im not the boring 4 slowdown killer.
0 -
BBQ is gen slowdown?
0 -
He means the 4 perks that come after BBQ.
0 -
16 undying appearances in 200 match is very impressive, wonder what mmr this is
0 -
I agree, I did a poll a while back and it was split between people who wouldn’t use BBQ if it didn’t have the bloodpoint bonus and people who would keep using it just for the aura.
0 -
Well I also track my survival rate and last when I hit 500 matches I was escaping 60% of matches. So I know its fairly high. I do end up in a lot of fairly popular streamers games.
0 -
ngl if there was a perk that gave me triple BP and removed the aura benefit I'd be using that instead. The grind is a joke a total joke.
0 -
The main difference I see here between roles is that any perk is basically the same on any survivor, so it's easy to see why some perk's popularity can correlate with how "OP" it currently is. David with a DH or Nea with DH is basically the same thing.
With killer, on the other hand, you should have to go case by case to see what's happening there. Say, if someone faces a lot of Ruin+Undying Blights a day those two perks will climb up that list (and may look like they are top-tier), but maybe when it's not a Blight the player faces those two rarely appear. So maybe that's a powerful combo on that one specific killer.
I think it'd be interesting to see how these numbers apply to each individual killer.
0 -
I think whoever does the tracking would eventually see the same perks with the same popularity on each killer with few exceptions.
The top 5 perks are so much more popular than the rest. 30+ uses of those perks separated them from the rest.
There are some perks you would never use on certain killers but those perks are already very unpopular as it is.
I truly didn't see many patterns as to each individual killer. The top perks were popular on everyone
0 -
That’s not true. You could see dh in a match 86% of times, but there are 4 survs. This is the same as say killers kills in 95% or more matches (1,2,3 or 4k), so they deserved a massive nerf
0 -
I'm not sure what you mean.
When I tracked survivor perks in 100 matches Deadhard appeared 156 times total. There were 14 matches it wasn't present in. Therefore it was in 86% of matches.
Deadhard was very VERY likely to show up in any match. With about a 50 50 chance of it showing up at least twice.
1 -
Oh well, please don't pretend like you are better then, you are just casual player, there is nothing wrong in it but being "casual player" won't immediately make you any better than anyone else.
0 -
Im not pretending anything. You said it, again.
I have 5k hours on this game, maybe double or triple than yours. I've learn some things in 4,5 years playing it.
0 -
5k hours and you still play by the rulebook? Big oof.
I play for my own fun, i'm not a youtuber out there looking to make an entertainment video for other people to watch.
The acknowledgement from survivors I get for running suboptimal builds and playing nice is usually some teabags at the exit gate
0 -
The rulebook..? I just said that I don't use slowdowns and some people got angry for some reason. And who talked about YTubers lmao. Anyways bud.
0 -
Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't it make sense for the most popular survivor perk to appear more often because there's 4 survivors in a match? this doesn't seem like some argument to claim a perk is busted (which DH is not)
0 -
Saying "I've learnt hard way" and "Not addicted in slowdown" is pretty much pretending you are good player, and again you are doing that kind of attitude by using meaningless playtime.
0 -
Well you don't even need any argument to claim DH is busted though, just use it for once and you'll know it's thousand times better than anything else.
0 -
And what is your problem exactly? Basically you're saying people who don't use slowdowns are getting destroyed which is not the case.
Maybe the reason is because killers struggling with 4 slowdowns getting mad. Got you.
0 -
Yes.
Broken down further there was 356 survivors total in the tally. 156 chose deadhard.
So 43.8% of survivors used deadhard. Pretty much meaning it will appear in 9 out of 10 games usually.
0 -
I see BBQ as a good thing... It's about the only perk that makes Camping and Tunneling less (whatever it is)
Can't really complain about Corrupt, PR or Pop that much
Also funny that players aren't using Whispers (I use it on most Killers cause I have it unlocked for them)
