Hug tech vs wall clipping
not meant as us vs them.
But why complaints on exploiting and abusing blights hugh tech to slide around objects, where the same thing a la wall clipping is common to every survivor.
If we just compare movement of killer vs survivor, one gets stuck on every pointy pixel while other slides and gains a bit of distance?
Isnt that a exploit aswell?

By design survivors have smaller hitboxes, they did a stream at one point showcasing this - I could probably find it if need be
Hug tech is a bit different, it's more about how Blight's power works and can be manipulated by those who have the know how, to do things that aren't necessarily intended but not bannable or anything like that. Some people have said it's even intentional which I'm not 100% sure on but I could see it.

Neither are exploits. Survivors have smaller hitboxes than killers and learning how to hug a loop as tight as possible without getting stuck is a skill. Blight hug tech is intentional.

If you try to tell me you never get stuck on anything as a survivor I'll be the first one to say it's a lie and just because the hitbox is smaller doesn't mean you won't get stuck on on the tiniest thing possible while looping, hell there are even stairs on a few maps that if you try to hug tight you will get stuck halfway up the stairs, it's a problem for both sides in my opinion, sure you could be more mindful while chasing/looping but excuse me for believing that a board hanging an only an inch out of place on certain shacks shouldnt make me get hung up and that goes for both sides, I had it happen on Billy the other day I was chasing the last survivor left alive and because I apparently clipped the side of something the survivor got the hatch but we can't get a 4k everytime so it is what it is but frustrating on either side when it costs you the game.

Quick question, but why are so many things to survivors "techs". They aren't even that hard to pull off, why do we slap on this word to make it sound like some super complex crap when it isn't lmao.

Because survivor one of the most mechanically simple things I've seen in a game. The game is 99% holding W/forward or M1/whatever console is. People take what they can get.

It's just short for technique. And that's what it is. No one claims it's a super complex thing, they just use the proper word to describe the action being done. Pallet looping is a (tech)nique. Hugging a wall as blight and dashing, is a (tech)nique. Billy curving is a (tech)nique. a survivor faking a pallet drop is a (tech)nique. Do you understand now?

Its nice to see how dedicated you are, but absolutely have no problems with other stuff such as how much time in loop you can get via wall clipping and especially clipping around rock tiles. How 360ing is in the same basket as hug tech and etc.
But tbf, blight flicks and hug techs no matter how much you master them, without pinball logic, blight will never be a good blight.
Lets face it aswell. this is bhvr, this will never happen :)

Oh yes, i am so sure that scooching close to an object and looking down to remove collision was totally intended and discussed during his creation...
