All killers have the same lunge range.

He has the same lunge as others. It only looks longer because he has a very small weapon attached to his hand, so he has to lunge visually further to reach the same distance other killers do with a longer or bigger weapon (eg, giant machete). Before you ask, the reason lunge sizes are not based on character/weapon size is cause that'd be horrible for balancing.

I always thought reducing his lunge would have been a better nerf rather than wrecking his power and add ons last year. Along with the BT change to prevent camping in dream world.
His lunge looks so stupid visually. I start eye rolling seconds in advance of a vault in preparation for the impending bs.
In his current state, he shouldn't be nerfed further.

Freddy has the SAME LUNGE as every Killer. Let me see if I can explain it:
Trapper is 8 feet tall, with arms proportionate to his body. So if he lunges, like, 5 feet; he can do it by taking 1 step forward, because his arms are covering 4 feet of the 5 feet.
Freddy is smol, with smol arms. If he lunges 5 feet; he has to leap forward and cover the 3 feet his arms don't reach.
Result: Both are lunging the same distance; 5 feet. But Freddy has to leap forwards, while Trapper can take 1 step. So it looks like Freddy is covering more distance.

If you got hit by Freddy's Lunge you would of got hit by any other killers lunge. His just looks weird sometimes.

There isn't, but Freddy's smaller character model makes it seem weird a few times, even though it is the same model. It can happen with Ghostface too.
Many people wrongly believed that Freddy has a bigger lunge than usual, which is simply not true, as the devs themselves confirmed it.
This complaint was very common back in the day.
