I think these changes would make Trickster more fun to play + unique range killer

  • Trick Blandes add-on (Blades ricochet) base kit.
  • 50 Blades to start with (instead of 44)
  • Main Event no longer has timer window to be activated

This would buff him for sure but also made him way more interesting and unique.

Thoughts?

    I really don't want to see more tricksters around while I'm playing survivor. That's my thought tbh

    If we gave his knives hit validation sure, I'd go insane getting hit around corners AND through solid objects basekit

    He's pretty good as it is. Maybe before his most recent round of buffs.

    Main event, sure, but basekit trick blades just sounds annoying and spammy. His main problems right now are tight loops, which is a universal problem for all ranged killers. Maybe decreasing his blade drawing time and making his aim less offset would help him deal with these types of loops better than the other projectile killers.

    It would be nice if tricksters could hold his main event. That's a nice change that has been wanted for a while, at least for me who has been playing him since the beginning. The 50 knifes might be a bit much as I saw on his latest PTB. But yes, the ricochet blade would be a helpful edition if it became base in my opinion. But I know a lot of people hate him as is, so that may not be the way to go.

    If he can hold main event, well then basement Trickster will actually become a thing.

    Basekit trick blades would be a fun change for Trickster players but horrible to face during survivor.

    You'll get downed by those bad players who get lucky with a few ricocheting knives. They spam them everywhere and they get very lucky by some random rocks. So I really wouldn't want it basekit.

    I think what should happen is that you should need to remove the knives you have implanted into you if you want the meter to decay with a special healing action (similar to Snap Out). They don't decay on their own anymore. That'd give Trickster some inherent slowdown and make him a bit healthier I think?

    These changes would be really fun for someone playing Trickster but not so much for survivors.

    The main issue with Trickster is that he's unfun to play against because of his power yet his basekit/add-ons are too weak. I love Trickster, I really do but he's an unfun killer who's also weak so how do you buff or at least change a killer like him without making him more unfun to play against?

    His power is kinda of like legions in the sense that most significant buffs needed to make them even a little viable make them outright nightmares to face. Any nerf completely kills them and if the change is a band-aid fix or not well thought out then you get disastrous results.

    Realistically he needs a rework in some shape or form because in the state he's in right now, he's helpless

    I'd personally say make ricochet blades basekit and reduce his held knifes to 40. This makes spamming knifes less effective because he has fewer while giving more options to land knifes for people who play him well. It'd be an overall buff but would also make him a bit less spammy.

    For me personaly, that would make him less fun to play. I allready don't like how limited your ammo is.

    I might be the odd one out here... But I mostly just want memento blades to get reworked to revert most of his last changes...

    I loved having 70 knives to work with, a laceration that stuck around, the higher max throw rate, and didn't mind 8 blades for a health state.
