Slugging the 2nd last for a 4K
This happens in almost every single match and it's really boring to be left on the ground for up to 4 minutes while the killer hides nearby for the other survivor to reveal themselves (if they're wraith, pig, ghostface, michael, or insidious), or just to go look for them.
Plus after the hatch change, the slugging for the 4K makes the hatch even less relevant. It's nice that it exists as a potential last chance for the remaining survivor, but... it's completely irrelevant seeing as 95% of players will slug the 2nd last for as long as necessary in order to prevent the remaining survivor from taking it. The only time hatch is relevant now is when the killer is friendly and gives the remaining player hatch.
Can there just be a button to bleed out if I'm left on the ground for more than like 45 seconds if I'm the 2nd last survivor? I just wanna move onto the next game, I don't wanna wait 4 minutes. At that point, I usually just turn off dbd, especially seeing as it's every single game. And sure, there's unbreakable, but after you use it the same thing just happens anyway.

Maybe after being left for 30 seconds on the ground, you could have an option to speed-bleed out, which could show for other players, including the killer. Then after another 30 seconds you bleed out (This way the killer still has the option to hook you).
Or just remove hatch so that killers will stop slugging for the 4K. It's only relevant if the killer intends to let the last person live anyway.
Or just don't give players DC ban if they're being slugged for a significant amount of time.

Yeah, I don't have the patience to do that personally as a killer. I'll slug the third survivor if I actually know where the fourth survivor is but if not I'll just hook them and do the coin toss on the hatch.

I'm in for removing hatch, forced to lose merciless just because RNG favored them is not something very good.
Oh alternatively we could make it so hatch spawn closed but killers can see their aura and open it up, I think it works same as now.

I'll never understand the need to 4k that much.
Take the guaranteed 3k, and hope to find the hatch first, who cares if one gets there first?

Entity cares.
4k is necessity to iridescent emblem for sacrifice, and that's the biggest problem I think.
It is needed to both pip up and adept.

How come I never see Survivors say 'I never see the need for a 4 escape? Take the 3 escape and try to find the hatch first.' It's always Killers who should 'stop trying' and 'take the 3K' to accommodate Survivor fun.

If I know where the 4th survivor is I will, but otherwise I’ll usually just pick up and hook. Most of the time, I don’t care if the last survivor escapes or not and I’d rather get into the next game. I end up letting the last survivor out anyways a lot of the time.
Typically if I do slug for 4 it’s either because I have a challenge and I have to, or you were toxic all game, or I know for a fact that you weren’t helpful to your team/hid in corners and didn’t do gens and therefore I don’t want you to escape, or because you sent me to haddonfield/preschool and still lost.

No hatch with a rework of left behind being that it disables your scratch marks or doubles your gate opening speed I think would be fine. The perk's gimmick is that if you're the last one remaining it gives you something special to increase your odds of surviving. I think EGC should still proc if there's just one left if hatch is removed.

I don't like to slug the 2ND last survivor, it's pointless for me, I just want to play the match and go to the next match, I don't like to make the match longer to me and to the others

i usually slug for 4th survivor if i need 4th bbq stack or they're just a little rat and i don't want them go

Not my intention. I was speaking as a killer, not as a survivor, so still not a us vs them.
I just don't get it. But, others have reminded me that people are still going for adepts or just want to make sure they pip.
Things I just don't care about at this point in the game.

I only ever do this if I really really don't want the 4th survivor to get the hatch no matter what (someone that was sandbagging his teammates, BMing, or just hiding the whole damn game)
