Freddie Clarification

Hey Guys,

I'm new but not new to this. Was a very frequent player when it first come out and only 3 killers were available. I've recently got back into it and somewhat out of my depth.

However R.E Freddie can someone clarify whether it's better to be sleeping or awake with him? I don't seem to see any advantages or disadvantages. As I can see and hear his terror radius no matter what.

Thanks,

Chris

Technically speaking, you're not affected by his traps when you're asleep. Other than that, it's the exact same. Whether that is worth waking up for is something you should decide for yourself.

It is better to be awake, because then you are not affected by Snares/Dream Pallets and his Teleport-Cooldown is longer the more people are awake (it decreases for every Survivor asleep).

However, most of the time it is not really worth to walk full Map to the Clock. Skillchecks are also quite a sad excuse of waking up. And you are asleep anyway once he hits you, unless he hits you while you have the 30 seconds immunity due to the Clocks...

So, if you can be away pretty fast (either because you pass your clock anyway or because a teammate can wake you up and it only takes the lowest amount of seconds), wake up. Otherwise, I dont think it is worth the time investment.

Nice one. Thanks for Clarifying that bit too Aven.

I can never be bothered going across the map to wake up for what seems like 20 seconds.

Also you only hear his heartbeat/TR when you are awake. Asleep you only hear a lullaby which is how he can sometimes walk up on your ass if your head not on a swivel.
