Plague is great
Honestly I am having so much fun with her especially considering the amount of CoH dc's

The bad hitreg is too frustrating for me to play as her.

I've never noticed a hit reg problem? The only issue is the strange physics she has moving to the side but you just move your camera to account.

I'm not that good with her. When I play her tho, most of my luck comes from end game. Survivors have adapted well to not getting hit with her puke. I find myself trying and missing more than hitting them down
Plus gens go so fast I don't get to move around the map to all the purge fountains.

I like to use Play with your food + nemesis on her since her green vomit doesn't consume PWYF tokens, it's quite fun

It used to be WAY worse so if you haven't played The Barfy Queen lately, I'd give her another try.
It certainly does still happen that you hit someone with the blarf and nothing happens but it's far rarer now than it was a few months ago pre-QoL patch

She's still an M1 killer against survivors who do not cleanse and even though she ignores COH's existence, the presence of DH alone is still enough of a deterrent from me wanting to play her.

I have problems with her hit boxes and being validated on those as well. You could hit a survivor dead on with your puke while they're holding W, and get the sound, but they won't get infected.
Or you'll be out in the open, and have a survivor 4m away and go to do your flick with her and it'll all just fall to either side of the survivor and never actually connect despite it actually hitting on your screen. And this happens so often that it's deterred me from playing her. You even see it in the tournaments they've been running. The hit boxes are just extremely inaccurate on her.
Don't get me wrong, I love everything about her, she's my vomi mommy. But until they fix that I'm probably not gonna play her very much.

tried playing as plague, ended up in red forest where not a single soul cleansed... went back to trickster/nemo soon after.

But then you play Daddy Trickster/Nemesussy and find yourself playing against the hold W squad of the century

tears are coming out of my eyes when you mentioned that particular squad ;_; but at least you don't have to worry too much about dead hard as trickster..
