Clown could use a better rework, but a buff was needed. Hag would go from high a to s tier all the way down to mid d tier if she had less than eight traps. Both are counterable

What Clown buff are you referring to, did he get a buff while I wasn't looking somewhere?

Yes and yes. Clown is still in desperate need of help. He's still very weak. And Hag's amount of traps isn't a issue, but her power design in general.

They literally added validation for it. Effectively making it the best perk in the game. That's a direct buff.

I would love if they made clowns speed bottles a separate value and not combined as 1 magazine. Especially when they announced the rework of "reloading reloads ALL bottles at once" implying you would have 8 bottles in total, 4 slowdown and 4 speed.

Hit validation isn't a buff. Everything should be validated by the server since the day they enabled dedicated servers.

You're complaining about 1) a killer's brown and yellow add-ons getting buffed, which won't be used at high level anyway, and 2) a killer who can be crippled by people disabling all her traps the moment she decides to pick up a survivor, even if it's just 1 person being that nuisance.

The only one I can think of is them speeding up his reload time from 5 to 3 when he got his yellow bottles.
But It didn't really change that much about him.
Oh yeah! And then there was the not slowing down when he throws his bottle.

Hag trap have multiple counters flashlight, and you can just have someone w over her traps making them usless and then she has to waste time trying to reset up her web.

Ah the good old days of when Hag would take like 5 seconds to place a single trap and her teleporting range was about as long as she could walk in the time.
I remember thinking I'd want to main her then, what a catastrophe

the reason I asked about the hag is that the other day I had a hag hooked me in the basement then use all her traps, next to me, up the stairs and out the shack door. Every step down to the basement I heard trap after trap go off.

hags who use mutlple traps in open areas irritate me, no point you want the web to catch as many as you can 1 is enough but yeah if you get your ass thrown in the sex dungeon by a hag just go grab a snack or something. As a hag main i use 1 trap per hook then seeing where you are in my web i may place a few strategic traps in exit points, but in the sex dungeon your getting one at your feet and at the exits. can't waste good bait.

They buffed Robin Feather and Solvent Jug. An equivalent exchange, in their mind, for nerfing Pinky Finger and Flask of Bleach, whose nerfs were insanely undeserved.

well when the clown can now rapid fire bottles and I get hit with thee of them back to back in quick succession while being chased when it's not needed. A hag placing all ten of her traps from the bottom of the basement hook all the way up the stairs and out the shack door only to watch every single one be set off when someone comes to save you. I think it's a bit overkill. Also Freddy started with 10 snares or 10 pallets and there was no issue nerfing that. I see it no different then the hags traps

If the clown is rapidly firing of bottles then they are just wasting them and actually hurting themselves. If the Hag has all her traps in the basement then she's a 110% m1 killer she is again hurting herself taking away all map pressure and anti loop and been 110.
Freddy is a 115% ms and snares and traps aren't the same snares are used for anti loop only and his map pressure is a separate ability but hag traps are her map pressure and anti loop she needs more for that reason.
