Solo Q is hell right now
I’ve been playing solo because all my friends that I play dbd with are never on most of the time, I think they might have even stopped playing completely. I’ve been playing solo q since then and it’s just hell. Teammates go down too quick, people get left on struggle sometimes even death hook, killers will camp and tunnel someone out early game and there’s just no coordination or common sense it feels like. If anyone wants to SWF in the future let me know cause I can’t take solo at the moment.

It's time to remove struggling on hook. Removing the option to suicide on hook would close one of the games biggest solo Q problems; baby survivors killing themselves at 5 gens.
At least make the useless bastards sit there for 2 minutes before they can leave so the rest of the team can even attempt an escape.

I try to be positive and just focus on one good chase with the killer. I don't expect to win or games to go well when playing alone. you shouldn't either.

I’m taking Philosophy/ethics in college. Right now we are learning about Arthur Schopenhauer. Yeah. Solo is pretty horrible right now. The matchmaking is casting wayyyyyy to wide of a net.
What's the point of having me wait 7 minutes just to put me in an unplayable 10 minute game? Do the devs really think I don't want to wait another minute or two for teammates at my skill level?
It's awful. Nearly every game has one or two teammates who go down instantly or make spectacularly poor choices paired with two competent players. The killer can't catch the two good players and rolls the other the two. The results of the game literally comes down to who the killer finds first and whether the two newer players will touch a generator. It's miserable.

As killer main, I can confirm this. I see huge disparity in skills and try to find weak link at first. It's often the difference between losing and winning. And with the way matchmaking is now, most of the time it's not a problem.
Weak one gets upset that he gets tunneled out early. After 2 hooks, they often become scared and stop doing gens at first terror sound, which is good for me. And as one of the devs would probably say: "if you got tunneled out because you are weak link thanks to our trash matchmaking, is it really a skillful gameplay?" (disclaimer: it's a joke. Plz don't take my cosmetics)
Strong ones get upset because they are ignored most of the match and then get to die on first hook. When they notice week one is dying too quickly, they try to distract and body block, so they stop doing gens too, which is also good for me. "if you got ignored all game and then died on first hook, is it really skillful gameplay?"
No amount of balancing would fix this. It's all about proper matchmaking.

Comprehension isn't this forums strong suit apparently. Killers are going to tunnel and camp you no matter what kind of group you are in. Not all SWF's are coordinated etc. No one was talking about my experience with SWF, but I will bite. I solo Que most of my games and have decent experiences, so it sounds like someone is just projecting their own inability to play the game on others.
This is a party game, not an E sport. Stop taking things seriously and enjoy yourself. Does someone desperately need to escape to feed their bruised ego's around here? I just don't understand the mind set and logic some people bring to this game. People have a couple games where they don't escape and all the sudden it's everyone but your fault and it happens all the time and needs to be fixed (The unintelligent redundancy is laughable). Say it with me now, "You are not going to win every game you play, even as a n SWF".

I've played around 20 games of solo queue tonight and it's been a breeze, what the hell are you on about lmfao
Only lost twice, and it was a Blight both times, easy af otherwise.

Solo survivor is always a miserable experience. I play solo 95% of the time and I get teammates who will literally stand there and watch you struggle on hook, even when the killer is off doing something else and nowhere near. It's ridiculous.

Solo is only an issue at lower ranks. If SWF wasn't so prevalent taking the majority of decent players or we had a larger player base with the required amount of killers needed for mmr to work then it wouldn't be so bad.
I played against a swf team today that didn't have anyone added but one guy from the EGS/windows (their own admittance) because they just wanted strong players not so much "friends" IT was a horrible match to with one COH boon and never ending body block rotations.

Solo q is hell right now? miss always was. always been and forever will thats why i dont play solo, killers have too many perks and advantages going for them right now, solos cant compete. MMR doesnt work either i escape most games when i play survivor with my friends except when we get that good killer with op addons usually blight or nurse... so imagine when those guys play with solos, is an stomp, solo is unplayable when i go solo my MMR is high so i always go agaisnt sweat lords but i get paired with dogshit survivors, so miss, solo q always was pain and forever will, get some good players as friends there is no other thing to do.

I miss the emblem days. At least you didn't play against 9 Blights in 10 matches, watching how easily he 12 hooks the entire team while the number 3 is just staring at you besides the gen icon.

We played against a aimbot Huntress (rip) and a Huntress with 9K hours using Infantry Belt with 4 slowdowns.
She slugged us to death at 5 gens. Idk who hurt her

Solo is better off than killer. Even when teammates are bad the game throws you some freebie chances to escape. If nothing else I can pip off my teammates shortcomings and personal effort.

The way you've written it gives me the impression your talking about your swf games. Which I still stick by what I said. Not every game of being in a swf is perfect but they definitely aren't anything like the OPs/any solo q games.
Also when it comes to me and my main swf, we literally only play once a week when we're drinking lol we literally play meme builds and mess around trying to get locker flashbang saves. Thing is though we still know how to loop and how to deal with camping or tunnelling if needs be. So I am enjoying myself while in swf.
So if you took offensive to what I said then I apologise. However you need to learn not to be so defensive and aggressive too. If I got sent my message, I wouldn't of acted the way you did.

First solo queue match of the day: Midwich with Trapper (no map offerings). Teammates not doing gens, self-healing outside of a placed boon totem, all sorts of nonsense. Rushed to hook trade with someone about to hit second stage. And to top it all off, I was left to die first hook as he patrolled the hallway... all with Kindred equipped by the way.

You probably should look for people to play with here on forums or discord servers, being solo in this game is a miserable experience, or you could just go play killer.
