I really don't think it needs nerfed. Just like Boon Totems, the exhaustion mechanic as a whole isn't a problem, only 1 or 2 perks are.

Then gameplay would become a lot more stale and boring. Survivors would start playing more safe and that would make it harder and more boring for killers.

They should have a condition for activation, like repairing a generator for X amount of time. The same way killer need to win a chase and hook a survivor to be able to use Pop, BBQ, Pain Resonance. Survivors do spawn glued to a generator, what's the difficult?

The condition is not being exhausted. Not every killer perk requires the killer to do anything either for powerful effects (i.e. hexes).

Exhaustion status is not a condition, is a limitation. Survivors must win exhaustion perks to be able to use them, that's the point.

It is both. You cannot activate an exhaustion perk while exhausted (that is known as a condition). Dead Hard and Overcome have the further limitations that you must be injured or healthy, respectively. Lithe requires a vault, Smash Hit doesn’t work without a stun. On top of all this, killers already have add-ons and perks to counter exhaustion.

Tell me again why any exhaustion perk, save maybe Dead Hard, needs further nerfing.

I think game should not be balanced around exhaustion perks. Any good survivor build includes one. 80-90% of survivors are running exhaustion perks. I don't like it. They provide significant chase advantage and their only downside is a cooldown (exhaustion status). Perks should not be a no-brainer pick in any situation. Some sort of downside or much bigger cooldown so you can't use it so often can help

did you know that exhaustion used to reduce itself when running, so you could use exhaustion perks while running.

Exhaustion doesn't need nerfed people need to just get better at the game it's that simple, in this time period in DBD if you lose it's because you made mistakes not because survivors brought a.perk or because they're "subtle hacking" it's honestly a joke at this point when someone loses its automatically swf getting blamed, perks, or hacking (because there's no way these people can believe they lost a normal match), if anyone falls into one of the above categories get over yourself and get better at the game or learn when to accept your mistakes like an adult should.
