Title, it's probably one of the most common hacks there's in the game and it's so damn annoying, and don't say they just got lucky, no, if you wait for it for 6 seconds and they don't do it and the moment you finally decide to hit they DH, they hack, period, stretched res has been fixed, time for auto dead hard, I hope you can do it BHVR, thank your for the res, now please, auto dead hard.

There are closet cheaters in this game you know... They don't want to be banned, so they just use subtle cheats to increase their chances like a 2% increase to speed or slightly faster gens and as the op mentioned, auto deadhard.

You dont even need a Macro to insta TP with Hag, I just start mashing CTRL the moment I see a Survivor head towards a trap or if Im just walking around in my web anticipating a trigger

It is really difficult to estimate how many subtle cheaters there are out there, but they do exist, and they are not an insignificant amount of players.
You have to be experienced and be engaged in a chase (sometimes on explicit tiles) to be able to notice it.
Example from last week: 1 guy it took forever to catch up to (not endgame collapse/hope), although i took shortcuts, literally had to spent almost 2 minutes to hit him 2 times with m1, and he was just holding shift w (the guy had something like +10% movespeed)
example 2: i chase a guy around a tile where you cant see through or above(even with stretched), i mindgame/moonwalk, he instantly switches and runs in the other direction when i do (i hear his footsteps and see that he always has max distance when i finally decide to run after him). I continue the chase to a l t wall (of course i play it counter clockwise and he never stops running confirming visual information because he always knows where i am and when i moonwalk/or make a direction switch )

Oh please enough with that video, that guy wrecked him and he can't accept he overcommit to the chase and made bad decisions there were three times he couldve gotten Dwight while he was dead on hook one time he set a crow instead of m1 during the shack window vault and the other two he literally mindgamed himself I'm just gonna throw this out there for people that haven't been around since release, hes not a very good killer don't get me wrong he's not bad but he's not really all that great Otz is just a friendly good hearted dude that interacts well with his community and is well liked and respected in the community for the way he presents himself, any tournament he's been in he's been demolished by a good squad.

The Dwight was clearly cheating in that video. Look at his movement speeds before the auto-DH. I’m not saying Otz played that match perfectly, but from my outside perspective the Dwight was definitely not innocent.

tbh i'm not sure how they even could remove auto dead hard, it works by 3rd party script, obv EAC isn't picking it up, it works by testing if the killers weapon hitbox has collided with the survivor hitbox, how exactly would you remove it, unless you mean a total rework of the perk but that doesn't solve anything, if auto dead hard exists then other auto scripts will and probs do exist too

Honestly Dead Hard is too powerful as it is, if they removed the invulnerability from it then it would still be used solely for distance by a lot of players but would eliminate any potential for the hack.

Well if he was I'm a bit surprised it looked like legit gameplay to me but if BHVR says he hacked then that's what it was, I don't understand why he would hack for such a subtle effect, if they really want to stop hacking they should set triggers in the game that are impossible to achieve with any perk combo and if something goes beyond that and it's not a confirmed bug have it immediately kick them from the game until further review

The subtlety I assume is to avoid getting banned for as long as possible. But you're right it can be hard for even very experienced players to tell if something is legit or not and it would be much simpler if the system just automatically flagged when a player is moving at a speed that doesn't make sense taking into account perks add-ons etc

bro youre in denial so ######### hard if you genuinely think more then 1% of the player base is hacking at any given time this isnt csgo the VAST majority does not even consider downloading hacks let alone auto dh

when someone cheats completely by flying or else, you cannot win, nothing you can do about it, you know it, but auto dead hard is just like HAHA I outplayed you but no you simply cheat in a subtle way, it's annoying, either cheat all the way or don't cheat at all.

you're only wasting your time by reporting them, even if they do something blatant and admit it multiple times in the chat.
this is only true for survivors though, they seem to ban you pretty fast if you actively cheat as a killer. not that it matters when you can literally unban yourself for free (no i'm not gonna link anything).
i honestly don't know who would feel the need to be subtle when there are absolutely no consequences for cheating.
also you'd be surprised to see how many survivors actually don't wanna deal with cheaters on their side, even when they're being facecamped by an insidious bubba. go figure
