(RANT) SOLO Q IS TOTALLY UNPLAYABLE
It's literally SOLO Q HELL:
2 matches 2 dces mid game, teammates that left me to die on hook and stay at doing gens at the wrong time, basement trapper just now where without coordination it's impossible to get out, people that go down in seconds, and many frustrating things.
Please devs do something, I'm losing my cool playing with such bot teammates.

Its called MMR hell. You need to push through, no matte what. Down at the bottom of MMR hell all the survivors die on first hook to NOED using Wraith. But you got to endure. Once you won a few games you actually reach the pastures of "normal MMR", where things look much better. And the grass is more green on this side, too. :)

I don't know why, but since i started tracking my team performance every match... i've seen my solo q experience getting better. Maybe i was too annoyed by the game and ended up throwing even more... i don't know. I did it multiple times, and each time... my view on the game became different. Maybe you can try it too. Unfortunately, i'd say that there is no perk that will help (not BT/ not Bond/ not Kindred) if the team throws too much.

Then take a break, play with friends, or play killer.

Honestly I stopped playing solo q seriously and just treat it as hide and escape now so far I had 6 escapes 4 via the gate and 2 via hatch this week(I don't play solo q often lol)
Like I do one gen near my hiding spots and proceed to hide lol

no green grass, no matter how many games I win I still find bot teammates

Playing with the same players all the time is not fun

Playing killer is literally the only fun thing left in this game, even if the game is unbalanced
1 -
Having a system that actuallt weights skills instead of kills and escapes

Right I'm there right now but I have won too much so I'm moving to MMR Nightmare zone ...so many God Tier spirits and Blights.....please someone hold me......and if it's the Spirit.....you can hold me anytime you want. Giggity giggity alllllll right.

You should evaluate your own gameplay before criticizing others.

Yeah that happens from time to time but not too often. It's funny the only way to die these days is DC's or throwing the game (not working gens, going down in 10 seconds at beginning of match, etc). My current build is Alert, Guardian, BT, and WOO so nothing super powerful really and I have fun in solo's barring any of the situations above. Well I did go up against a SHPR/DMS Artist yesterday along with a franklin/hoarder Pinhead and neither of those were very fun. Overall we did well considering but fell short.

Sometimes it feels like playing against 4 killers.. For me it is the noob hell. I play with people......
- selfcaring 2 meters outside of my CoH radius
- running to my hook in threes, even though Bubba is facecamping me and I'm using "Kindred"
- doing only bones and looting chests and never touching a single gen until the killer has at least 6 hooks
- running in a loop in pairs and cockblocking each other
- getting chased for max 10 sec., refusing to drop pallets or jumping fulllife into a locker

Solo queue is absolutely terrible right now. It's kind of egregious how solo survivor has been completely left in the dust while the devs focus on giving killers more meta tools with every patch.
It would be one thing if matchmaking in solo queue was anywhere close to accurate, but it'll put two 2k hr survivors with two 200 hr survivors against a Pinhead pub warlord with Engineer's Fang and Thanat/Pain Resonance/DMS/PGTW. It's shockingly an unplayable stomp when the newer players have no idea what to do and zero information to help.
The matchmaking is terrible and solos get zero information unless they nerf themselves by giving up perk slots.

Yes, survivor gameplay is in a very dark and gruesome state. Killers are overpowered with not much opportunity of escaping.
The only thing devs can do is make survivor gameplay easier, nerf slowdown perks.
4 -
MMR does nothing,as survivors that ar bad at the game can get high mmr just for escaping.

If your teammate is too scared to do gens and you end up dying, are you really a skilled player?
6 -
Was it really a skilled play if I couldn't carry two players who installed the game last week to the finish line and died after 10 minutes and 2 total gens were done?
4 -
I hate how you said that as I raged about that on the forums lmao
1 -
Was it really a skilled play if I couldn't
Nope. You should be able to do anything.
3 -
Yeah, but solo q is a different mindset.
I don't want to play with others, I dislike talking on the mic and I prefer to play on my own timeline, readying up without obligation to others.
So, we suffer through the ######### games for those few gems, when 4 randos pull of fun escapes.
But, I guess that is the state of the game, if you want to have a chance of surviving consistently, swf is the thing.

lmao just slot Left behind and hide the whole game dont even go for saves

I was playing with 2 other friends I added in solo que. No comms and we escaped both matches and even made a blight dc. Then when they left I was invited by another group with no comms again. We escaped almost every match except for the last 2 where we just memed around and didn’t do gens. It’s almost like if your put with good player and not potatoes, you can win. Hell I even got 2 blinds with flash bang lmao

Not everyone can carry a team that goes down in 2 seconds every chase

I win most of my solo queue games, you're just unlucky.

Can you guys continue on getting the bad teammates so I can keep the good ones?

If I need my survivor rating up i just swf for a while. The thing Patrick doesn't seem to get when he said (paraphrased) "your win condition may be saving all your teammates even if you die but wouldn't it be nice to be able to do all that and escape too?" is that lower skill level matches aren't easier as a solo. It doesn't matter if you can keep a frosty eyed wraith chasing you for 10 minutes straight if your teammates spend that time crouchwalking around the foliage. My last match involved a kate with no mither (against an oni too, that was great) she gets downed, I run into place with my flashlight, he lifts her up, I aim, she DCs, leaving me in not an amazing spot. So yeah I'm overdue a boost.

Use Clairvoyance, be prepared for hatch game and never, under any circumstances, prioritize random teammates over yourself.
That's what SBMM solo survivor experience taught me. Which is unfortunate, giving that prior to that I would always run BT and was selfless.

Nope, everyone knows that the person that doesn't do anything but still escapes is actually the skilled player. The guy that did everything but still dies is just a terrible player and deserves to lose mmr. 🙂

Should've played better.

I play primarily solo.
It's pretty chill/easy/stress free for me, personally.
I play super greedy, though, admittedly.
