Playing billy on RPD is really depressing... fixable?
You can't really go for any flicks on most loops, and, due to the inherent nature of the map, you cant use his movement too well except for one or two corridors. All of that makes billy a chore on RPD.
One short term solution might be to just turn down the collision on a lot of props in order to give him some opportunity to use his chainsaw for mobility, and it wouldnt change some unique flicks you can go for on that map.
If I had creative freedom over that map (with a bunch of resources ofc), I think I'd consider removing a god pallet or two and creating some more jungle gym-esque loops in place of them.
1. How have you been dealing with your main on RPD?
2. Do you think RPD is fine in general, or does it need changes?
3. Do you think my proposal for a fix is good or bad?

I'll just answer to your second question
Delete the rpd

How have I been dealing with RPD?
Very simple, I don't. I disconnect at the loading screen if I see the offering, or when I actually load into the map.

I think youre right, but they can still control the position of some tables pallets vaults without changing the entire layout.

I love the map as most killers but killer who depend on mobility (blight-billy) or line of sight (nurse) don't do well on it.

Blight is also painful on that map. You literally cant rush through doorframes.

Billy is a chore on nearly every map.

Just delete rpd and there ya go. Easy fix :)

You're already better off getting bloodlust or just hugging the survivor before going for a sprint so that's what you want to do on RPD

So the least fun way of using your power. Got it.

Its It's the most effective method and the reason why he has that pallet perk... you're almost expected to get stunned a lot playing Billy because you always have to be close to down them

- Crying
- Delete the map, please dear god please delete the abomination of map design known as Raccoon City Police Department
- It probably wouldn't do much since it's not like billy would be able to go around corners still and that's his biggest weakness on that map and it wouldn't help ranged killers who struggle on the map a lot too but it might help billy and maybe blight a little bit

The better you get with billy, the more trivial backrevs get. The parts of his power ive always enjoyed thoroughly are his movement for macro, and his ability to flick.
The downs that you get the way you describe it are definetly the bread and butter, but also the least fun part abt his basekit. Which makes me sad.
He gets about 40% his power removed just due to the map. Thats depressing...

I'm blind by resident evil fanboy bias but i don't have much trouble on it. One because I have the layout speed run memorized, and two because I typically play nemesis and pyramid head, killers that can deal with god pallets

Ranged killers prob get the tormented status effect on that map.

I played against Blight, Billy and Nurse on RPD and they did well. The one where we 4e was against a Nemesis.

Really? Thats amazing, i thought nemo was the only one to be able to actually enjoy playing that map.

Running double engravings and then getting rpd just ######### sucks man. Your add-ons literally hinder you on that map. I say best course of action is to find a game breaking bug on it so it can be killswitched again :D

You are not blind. I can understand some arguments about this map but it is in no way as bad as told here.
I also don´t have that much problems on it.
Sure the layout is a bit more complicated but what is the problem with that? After playing it a few times you learn it. I also don´t get this map very often.
