why make a big deal over stretched res? both sides benefit from it

why are people moaning so hard over this stretched res? every other game has it, and granted they are symmetrical games, but why shouldn't dbd? because of all the complaints, particularly from the killer mains, stretched res has finally gotten patched out, and i'm left wondering why in the world they would complain so hard about something that benefits them, and in some cases, more than the survivors.

survivors:

can see over very, very specific tiles, and there aren't many.

expose ghostface - very, very unlikely.

killers:

free shadowborn for all killers with res 1440x1080 or below.

blight can see where survivors are going when recovering after rush.

nurse can see where survivors are going when recovering after blink.

overall: smoother game and better FPS

I used to run stretched res back when i had a crappier rig, and when i switched over to native, its not like i played worse at survivor/killer. These people who complained about stretched res were really just looking for an excuse.

RIP stretched res.
