I'm convinced scratch marks are broken
Time and time again I hit a survivor and the marks make zero sense. You won't see them at all... no path... then see a few off to the left on a wall that leads to the right, then immediately see the path but it actually goes to the left.
I'll be following, then they vanish for a second and reappear giving no distinct sign of any trail.
At the end game you look for survivor perks that hide them and see none. Something is up. They are all over the place.
The speed boost when you hit them makes me lose them bc there's no direction with the scratch marks. It's random.

They have pretty big range and spread around corners and on walls sometimes.
Always look whats on the floor and try to look a bit farther.

Scratchmarks are bugged right now. They are 1sec late than they should be.
I was chasing a survivor, I though he left 0 scratchmarks. But they appeared 1sec later.
In a close chase scratchmarks makes 0 sense. But they are good for tracking a survivor.

They have been wack since release.

Its easier to tell when they're being weird as survivor than killer. I've ran fixated and seen them take several seconds to appear, or just suddenly vanish

They've been bugged for a while. They don't properly show up on a lot of surfaces like stairs.

I thought that's how they always worked. Unless I'm misunderstanding something.

When Im playing survivor with Fixated scratchmarks appeared sooner compare to killer side.
