Blight slide on the wall it's cheating for me
When the blight go on the wall and after no collision it's a cheat for me, like I said "for me"

Cheating has a clear definition
The definition is "act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, especially in a game or examination"
Looking down to avoid collision was an intended mechanic by design so its not Cheating in anyway shape or for you just don't like that he can do it.

It’s cheating for me too

Well, if you consider it cheating for yourself then don't do it when you play Blight. Easy.
What was this thread for, again?
13 -
So the object not having collision and rendering Blights power useless most of the time is a cheat now?
Like... really?
14 -
It is less cheating and more an exploit, if you ask me. But whatever, I could care less how Blight players wreck survivors.
4 -
you're wrong. maclean recently stated it's a bug.
hopefully it'll get fixed so you actually need to learn to play

in the meanwhile i'm trying desperately to bounce on walls in order to turn and hit someone, but he keeps sliding on objects... quite infuriating tbh... honestly they are unfair only when they did turn rates not possible in any way without raising your dpi (and THIS is cheating imo since it's not intended that this killer can turn in that way)

He said that you collision been tied to your fov was an intended mechanic.

I think trying to understand what it can do and what it can't do would greatly help your survivor life.

I don't know, he isn't BHVR employee anymore after all.

Good for you. Like I said "for you".
I personally dont like come up with excuses when I get ######### on by Blight
2 -
bhvr not being able to code a bouncing killer properly isn't a 'tech' either
2 -
It's simply a annoying bug.
Annoying for both sides.

It's not like it's an easy thing to do in the first place...
3 -
Depends. Hug Tech is an exploit (not bannable, though) according to McLean- take his opinion however you like since he's resigned from being a DBD Dev- while a scoot is an actual tech.
Don't ask me for the difference on these, because I genuinely don't know.

Did you know combos were an unintended mechanic in street fighter guess what's a common mechanic in all fighting games now?

Do I need to link guides/explanation on how to counter a sliding Blight again?
2 -
Hug tech is a bug in my eyes, if its about that exploit. But it doesnt come into play too often so i could care less. Calling it cheating i find questionable.

It has been confirmed 16th february again that it is a bug. So it does not matter if he is or not.

Ive heard the old clip. But idk bout a recent clip. Care to link it for me?

( the video that I posted to them was how to do the hug tech(bug) )
2 -
say it again

Someone has to learn the difference between cheating (in a videogame sense) and exploiting.
Cheating - Using mechanics/software outside the game to gain an unfair afvantage
Exploiting - abusing bugs or game design (in-game) flaws to gain an unfair advantage.
1 -
It is still a very unfair advantage. Whether the devs approve of it or not. It should be fixed for balance reasons.
