New players...
Imagine being a brand new player, having just finished the basic ass tutorial, playing a couple of matches, and then going against this. Less than 5 hours total and this killer had to face this. They got 3 hooks the entire match. Like how are they supposed to deal with this? And this isn't an uncommon scenario.
How do y'all keep new players??? Or just players in general? Oh wait...

It happened before mmr too, I went against stuff like this all the time as a baby killer and it taught me to be relentless. If it were not for their help, I might be as trash at killer as I am at survivor.

Just gonna say my best advice for new players if one pops in here, pick a build and unlock teachables for only those perks you want (as opposed to all teachables) so you can get your preferred build with no filler perks.

BHVR? You awake?

I hope other players help teach the new players

idk are they?

that was probably a refill: another killer left this group of suvivors and the matchmaker wants to refill very fast, but ingores MMR completely for sake of speed, this is the problem. Devs talked about this problem multiple times and they said they want to fix it

Didn't they say they flex the MMR so that new players don't match up with veteran players?
Another pretty good job so far case?

I still don’t know if MMR is considered bad by the community because of random matchmaking like this (which also frequently happened with rank based mm) or because it matches skilled survivors only against the top killers (only Nurse and Blight) and for skilled killers it’s only death swf squads….

This is the TRUE reason of killer shortage I think, they need paid perks to even stand a chance when survivors tend to use everything possible nowadays.
And even the grind is extremely inefficient if they have no good perks.

Nah. You can play fine at every MMR level as killer without paid perks.

I'm 100% sure more than 80% of killer players are incapable of it.

Just shows how OP killer is.
Just started the game and you can still get 3 hooks.
Imagine them at 10 hours.

Yeah, the learning curve for this game is incredibly harsh, and the in-game resources are rather lackluster.
Hint, hint.Wow, that's adorable

Both. It took 2 years for zero noticeable improvement on these cases while making the overall experience just feel worse due to the death squad issue. It fails as an accurate judge of skill and so while the algorithm behind it could be perfect (which it isn't, by the devs' own admission) it's trying to match on a premise that's fundamentally flawed.
RBMM was terrible but it felt better than this, and at least ranks were a better judge of skill than this pre-RR change (aka before Plague was released).
