I'm incredibly frustrated
Have others faced a bug with challenges not registering despite you knowing you completed them?
I decided to play survivour for the first time in a while and do survivour challenges. I get to the challenge where you have to stay in the trail while others escape. I stay on that challenge all night, not because I am unable to complete it, but because the challenge refuses to register that survivours had left before me. This bug has happened to me before in past tomes and its ridiculous that they continue to add it to new tomes. I remember seeing people complaining about this challenge in the past, so I'm surprised they continue to add it without fixing it.

Im currently doing that one myself but no issues just yet. I wonder WTH the deal is?

This is the first time Ive heard some one have issues with the challenge, and I havent had any issues either

I remember completing that challenge when I accidently left the trial first. I was surprised, but didn't mind or think to mention it.

I remember it not working for me and I would pause and active it again to make sure the challenge worked

I had another challenge bugged, the one in which you have to point at the killer using the perk premonition. I watched tons of videos and tried everything... Couldn't complete it. What's worse, it was, at that time, the last survivor challenge left for me among all the tomes until december that I stopped playing.

Any challenge progress can randomly get stuck.
You have to switch to another challenge and play a trial. Only then you go back to the original mission and it should work again.
This is the only reliable I've found to unstuck challenges.
Notice that some might genuinely be broken and can't be completed. For those you might want to check the bug section for any reports.

I wasted so much time on that one. I tried every suggestion and it literally never worked even when I had a killer that was leaving me alone. I think he thought I was friendly because I kept pointing at him, lol.
