What are the most satisfying moments on both sides?
I enjoy many aspects about this game. For me on the survivor side, a last minute rescue is the most satisfying thing. Like the video down below. I am an idiot for not know where the exit was
On the killer side it’s pretty easy. Killing a toxic survivor or survivors is super satisfying. That’s when you have the green light to play dirty yourself
I made a bunch of mistakes however in this match.

For me, on the survivor side I think it's the unpredictable progress of the match. I mainly used to feel this when I was newbie, everything was new and every little detailed used to surprise me. But as soon as I understood the game mechanics and I got experienced, almost everyhting became boring. But sometimes matches still surprises me and it's satisfactory feeling
On the killer side, I think the most satisfying moments are when I use the killer's power at the best way possible. It's satisfying too when I succeed to read properly a survivor's pattern.
I know it's not specific cases, but these things, for me, are the best moments :)

As killer: When playing Trapper and catching survivors in your traps.
As survivor: When playing against Trapper and hearing him get caught in his own trap.

Finding and breaking the devour totem right before the 4th token.
Chasing a survivor into a room with multiple lockers, getting the right one the first time.
1 -
- Getting free kills with 5 stacks of Devour Hope
- As Trapper placing a trap outside a window on a building like the ones in Haddenfield (currently undergoing a revamp) early in the match and then a survivor just running right into it thinking the building is super safe in a chase.
- Getting grabs as Jump Scare Meyers
- Getting a kill from Rancor
- Doing a build with Lightborn and Brutal Strength and getting an easy down on a flashlighter while you break the pallet in their face.
- Survivors getting spattered and downed when they try to use a fake pallet on Freddy
- When your zombies get a down as Nemesis (I always high five them afterwards! 😄)
- Hitting all four survivors in a single Frenzy with Legion
- Multiple downs from Haunted Grounds
- Just generally speaking some of the animations where killers break walls are pretty sweet. 🙂
- Caging tormented survivors as Pyramid Head

Didn't record it (and I totally wish that I did!) I was the sole survivor against an Oni yesterday. My build: Tenacity, Boil Over, Power Struggle, and Flip-Flop. Everyone was slugged and then hooked one by one. Killer had Iron Grasp so I knew that I needed to get to a pallet ASAP! After everyone else was dead, it was my turn. Killer picked me up and because of Flip-Flop, PS activated immediately. I jumped the pallet and to my surprise, hatch spawned right in front of me. Poor Oni stood there shaking his head... and I was shocked beyond belief.

Beating out someone(s) being a toxic jerkface
On killer, I specifically run Bloodwarden as there is no better feeling than the F Around survivors T-bagging at the gates, jumping through windows, and being unsporting clowns at the end game only for me to catch one who flew a little too close to the sun and now the entire team gets to Find Out. It is a rare occurrence but I run BW specifically because when it does happen, it's literally the best feeling in this game.
While depending on the situation it might not necessarily be toxic but saving someone by the skin of your teeth from a camping killer is always super great. You get the full team to swarm the hook and play in sync to save the one person still stuck up there (even though at least I'm solo so there's no communication on my part) and everyone plays their role perfectly to save someone.
2 -
LOL it's become my favorite build. Most killers don't expect someone to run PS. Sometimes it's a toss between PS or an auto-revive perk because some killers will just leave you after you've wiggled out so many times.

Last second rescues/escapes are def up there especially when other survivor leave and you pull it off yourself. Getting chased first and having 3 gens pop consecutive is another.
The snap of a bear trap, multiple hooks before corrupt ends/1st gen pops, killing Feng's, winning on Haddonfield, Red forest, and Ormond.
Winning the game with Console Trickster.

i have never ran blood warden but I can only imagine how satisfying that is

Yeah that perk is not used much. People anticipate dead hard or ds not power struggle. Would have been better with footage lol

“Killing fengs” hahaha
I take so much pride in killing, tunneling and camping Claudette’s
This Claudette has ds, I was not worried

As survivor i have 2 moments i remember right now.
- I was healing in locker with Inner Strength. My teammate was super lucky because hook was next to my locker. I stunned killer with Head On while they are carrying my teammate to hook and then killer dc'ed. I am sorry for laugh to this guy but it was super lucky and good moment. I was not planning to do this, it just happened.
- I was James and killer was Pyramid Head. When this guy came to chase me, i pointed him. And he left me every time. I enjoyed so much on this game. I respect lore-wise gamers, they are best.

That second one is really cool. I had a game where I was playing Jill vs a nemesis. He killed everyone and he came for me. I dropped my item and he stared at me for a while. Then we found hatch together. See not all nemesis players hate Jill😎
1 -
Jill is one of the my survivors, i don't hate her. But Nemesis hate her, i have to listen my big boi
1 -
At the end, good always trumps evil 😈 Jill reigns supreme
The greatest solo que match (and match period) I have ever played in. Full Resident evil vs nemesis on an ok map

Poor Nemmy, he punished by canon ending.

Survivor side:
The last second save (if it results in an escape), especially from a camping killer. I die a lot going for these, but the payoffs are worth it.
In general rescuing teammates from campers is just really gratifying.
Huge bonus if you manage to pull it off against a Bubba.
Killer side:
Sacrificing flashlight clickers who thought they wanted the attention, but discovered that they really didn't.
Cross map hatchets (though I rarely get them because I am not great with Huntress) and recently, crow snipes (resulting in damage/down).
When as Plague the opposing team refuses to cleanse and you put them all on the ground with a single run of corrupt purge, bonus points if all gens are powered
One that is harder to come by now (trigger warning): running MD ring and the amulet on Spirit and flying from one side of the map to the other with an immediate gen grab at the end. *chef's kiss*
And the grab on an attempted dumb tech is always nice.
Honorable mention (and is totally petty and meme-ish): the moment when that surv with the purple flashlight/odd bulb combo and big plans realizes you are running lightborn as you hit them in the face.
Yes, I have a little residual saltiness from my early days getting bullied by flashlight squads.

Especially if they're carrying a teammate, lol
Good stuff

When you put yourself under a vault location and the killer goes to pick you up and he vaults, it's hilarious to me
1 -
Funny enough. In the video I sent the tapp was flashlight clicking a lot when he had all the safe pallets. But when I started to get rid of them, and tunneled him he did click no more. I think he knew I was mad. I hit him on the hook too.

use exponential with a sabo toolbox

unfortunately but it was still a fun close match. And these are the matches that make dbd great. He got like 7 or 8 hooks

I still don’t have that park unlocked

As survivor you photo bomb ghost face when he's taking a selfie with his camera/mori animation.
As killer The Artist was mind blowing that I pulled out off. Cross map landing 2 Crow shots on 2 survivors that were healing on the other side of the map then after they both healed and split i managed to land another 2 crow shots injuring them both when I was still on the other end of the map!
Really wished I knew how to record my games....
1 -
It always makes me smile when that happens.
1 -
A perfectly executed EGC save/4 man escape as a solo survivor is my absolute favourite thing in this game.
1 -
Watching a survivor unknowingly trap themselves in a corner with Lightborn after getting stunned by a blast mine :) *laughs in instant-down killers*
Bonus satisfaction:
Hearing the snap and scream as a trap placed minutes ago suddenly performs mid-chase.
Watching a Zombie getting ran about, then suddenly go zoom towards the unsuspecting survivor.
