Oh, I do. Frequently, after the initial dedicated server implementation until about the end of 2020 when I gave up in using the perk for good and found Sprint Burst is just better anyway

Yepp I remember it as well, I also remember all the complaints about it.

Yes, l remember. Such a shame it was removed.

I remember.
Fortunately, they have added hit validation to Dead Hard, which has no issues and complaints associated with it.

Now instead of being exhausted on the ground, you are just on the ground.

Remember demo’s shred, Billy’s chainsaw, victor’s pounce and blight’s lethal rushes being able to go through dh ? Yeah me neither

Yeah, I remember. It actually made Dead Hard skillful to use, imo.

Now the validation basically messes with their powers in such a way where before, their attacks would keep going and then connect when i-frames end, but now they stop short because the killer's game thinks it was a successful hit (which triggers missed attack cooldowns, fatigue, etc.) but then validation says no.

A perk that only takes 25% of a Survivor's load out should not be able to negate a Killer power simply by pressing E.

Completely agree. It's not the end of the world, because a lot of the time you can still wait to bait out dead hard then attack when the i-frames end, but the old, pre-validation behavior was definitely more fair.

You can not wait out, or bait out, Dead Hard used to ensure distance.

You're right, but that's not what we were really talking about...
