What is the point in having a DC penalty?
baby survivors still suicide on hook and almost every game has a suicide or a DC, so the penalty seems to not even matter
the penalty needs to be much more strict and something needs to be done about baby survs killing themselves because they got downed first or they don't like the killer, give them their own special queue and let them DC with each other
i'd even be up for showing a DC icon next to their names so we can dodge lobbies with babies in it, they have to play 20 games without DC to remove the icon
don't play if you are just gunna throw a tantrum and ruin everyones match, if you're so fragile maybe stop playing online games

Yeah, DC penalties should be much more strict. It's crazy out there. Games where the survivors are actually in pretty good shape and someone will still DC. Like #########?
The number one benefit with SWF isn't communication. It's knowing that your teammates won't DC at the drop of a hat.

The DC penalty increases with each instance. I'm not sure what else they can do, sometimes legitimate internet issues happen. With MM being broken by lobby dodging, any mark of shame would probably add to that.
It does feel sometimes I am playing with children who can't handle taking an L.

I was going to type something like "people will instantly DC at the start if they don't like the map or killer" but they do that anyway. Honestly I don't understand why these people even play the game.

The DC penalty does matter, when it’s off there are noticeably more disconnects than there are now. It doesn’t eliminate them entirely obviously but the situation is definitely worse when the penalties are disabled.

To be fair, if they are baby survivors, they may be completely over matched in these lobbies and want out.
I tried to teach my friend to play, and he kept trying to escape, because he was so new, he didnt understand how it was a bad thing to do

Maybe there would be less DCs if they made solo a better experience.

A hook-suicide still wastes some time, which is a plus for the survivors.
I still get DCs from the odd cocky survivor downed less than 5 seconds after he smash-clicked or tried some "cool" toxic move.
DC penalty should be more harsh.

Dead by Daylight could use something like Friday the 13th had, the salt mines. Players that habitually disconnect get queued up with other frequent disconnecters and leave the people that don't ######### their teammates to queue together

Yeah DC penalty is definitely pointless for survivors because they can easily stop playing by suicide.
