Would Empathic Connection really be too strong if the 10% healing boost applied to yourself?
I get that it's more thematic that it only increases the speed you heal others but geesh. It's already a perk next to nobody will use.

I’m gonna try it out with other healing perks. If it doesn’t feel like it does much then I’ll take it off and won’t use it at all probably.

Yes, at least if it stacks with others.

I don't think so, 10% healing speed is no big deal, sometimes l use this build: self-care, botany knowledge, desperate measures and resilience only to become a medkit, I would trade resilience for empathic connection just to get another 1% boost 😂.
4 -
I run that build and then get 3 Plagues in a row lol
2 -
Btw I've used this perk in about 5 matches and 3 times the first survivor to get hit brings the killer straight to me and the interrupted my repairs.
Never touching this perk again lmao
2 -
No, I think that is a buff this perk needs.
2 -
No more selfish healing!

3 new trash perks

I'm just sad that we got another batch of worthless survivor perks :(
2 -
and overcome nerfed to the ground. It was bugged and you didn’t see it, imagine now
2 -
Ouch Lmao
1 -
Hard to tell when you are serious but did it really? Why da ######### would they nerf overcome.

✨Solo q✨

They fixed his other perk about missing a skillcheck, not Overcome
0 -
Overcome was bugged and it activated when someone unhooks you with bt. They have removed this
0 -
It would be fine, but ever since Circle of Healing, people are really biased against healing.
1 -
Ok cool thanks. I enjoy overcome.
Removing a bug is not a nerf. I knew you was full of ish
0 -
oh so it's a bugfix
0 -
Yeah I cannot see this perk ever being a good idea in solo q unless you wanna get chased... A LOT. Knowing how a fair number of survivors play. This will have them force you to take the chase.
1 -
Im kinda confused is the bug when you get unhooked you get overcome instantly? Or is if it your hit with bt you get the speed boost which i thought that was intended? (Since your going from injured to deep wound)
0 -
second one, was confirmed as unintended by mandy
0 -
Huh i thought that was intentional. Though looking at the perk description it does say whenever you become injured. Which i guess deep wound isn't really injured if you were already. Maybe i was thinking it applied on any hit or something. Idrk. Thanks.

It's wearing me down again

people really do be sleeping on empathetic connection smh my head

Honestly, I think this should be the last healing perk in the game. We already have way too many. It’s a bit convoluted. They need to combine some of these. They should have just buffed empathy and added the aura effect for the injured to see you as well. It’s bad that empathy is seldom used as it is.
2 -
Would it be too strong? No.
Does it really make sense for the perk to buff your own self healing speed? Debateable.
The perk seems designed to make yourself a dedicated healer for the team. Everyone else knows where you are when injured and you heal them slightly faster.
Honestly I would much prefer if survivor perks were more like this than the current meta.
1 -
it wouldnt make sense because the goal of this perk is to get used in solo queues to help directing a team. But they should buff it. The problem is, we're slowly getting into territory were perks begin to do the same with some minor differences. We already have Botany Knowledge, and buffing EC to lets say 20% more speed would make it kinda useless. The more perks we get, the harder it's going to be to invent some unique perks
0 -
I wish it heals others 20% faster.
0 -
so weak perks?
1 -
The perk really isn't that weak though it could probably use a buff to the healing speed. But a perk like this isn't going to get run when coh exists which has been an issue of trivilizing healing since it's release.
Let's also not forget that survivors are a team of 4. Survivors shouldn't be needing such strong meta perks in the first place and as a whole the strongest survivor perks could be tone down.
You can call them weak perks but they are far more balanced and fair in a 1v4 game.

idk they need to make stronger perks on both sides. or nerf the hell out of the current meta.
also if coh gets nerfed nobody is ever gonna run this still.
