Ruin needs a buff
Ruin is too weak. It should include an extra totem like Undying with its basekit, which could further stack with Undying itself. It should also regress gens while they're blocked, and any gen currently affected by Ruin would require a tremendously difficult skill check in order to start repairing or else the gen is blocked for 30 seconds (while regressing).

Ruin itself isn't too weak.
What is too weak is problematic totem spawns that are out in the open/in obvious places and survivors spawning next to them.

No, but tapping a gen should require a skill check so BASE regression isn't so terrible.

Omg yes, please, make it so regression takes longer than half a millisecond to undo. Make perks like Pop, Surge, or Call of Brine more useful instead of buffing the already strongest Hex perk in the game.

Yes. And totems should be invisible for the first 180 seconds of the game. And the survivors should spawn closer to the killer.
If BHVR doesn't implement these changes immediately, I might just stop playing killer altogether. That'll show them! They'll be so sorry that I stopped playing.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- old Ruin & old Undying were better. It’s a shame the two didn’t co-exist. That would have been something. It’s unfortunate that our newer players and casuals are such babies and don’t like doing secondary objectives. This is EXACTLY why they ragequit/DC against Pinhead/Artist with Hex Plaything/Pentimento, and EXACTLY why they get killed by Onyro with no hook state- because they’re too entitled/scared/lazy to do tapes. It’s the same clowns who don’t do Pinhead’s lament box either. Then when you look at their profile they are now either playing Fortnite, Minecraft, or Roblox.

It's already in an alright place. I think buffing it would just make it more annoying and cement it into every killers build again.

Just add more damage to kicking a gen and time to stop regression would be better for game health anyway.
Want killers to stop tunneling? give them something meaningful to create pressure other than removing someone before 3 gens are done.
CoH and lack of gen regression has made anything other than tunnelling and camping sub optimum for getting wins.

yeah especially when it's inactive because it got cleansed 20 seconds into the game, now it's applying pressure on the killer because they ONLY HAVE 3 PERKS AVAILABLE

I've ignored it both as killer and survivor and never has it once had any effect on the game, as far as I can tell. I've never seen it maxed out. I love Sadako, but Condemned needs a buff. It doesn't feel like a threat; hell, it doesn't feel like a game mechanic at all.

we need to double the base gen regression speed
and giving to some perks an small extra gen regression bonus(10%-15%), brutal strenght, overcharge, etc.
just like this perk does
