1 chase = 3 gens gone every game
Doesn't matter if I'm playing killer or survivor games every game is the same lately 1 chase = 3 gens gone.
Was it really meant to be like this because its kinda crap.
It'd be fun to have to collect parts before being able to repair or seomthing, just to slow it down a lil.

The devs have stated they tried internally something like this and it wasn’t received well at all in their user acceptance tests.

You have to hit & run to apply pressure across multiple surv-- wait... Circle of Healing exists.
Yes. That 3 gens gone after 1 chase is exactly how the devs want every match to play out. Carry on... /s

4/5 players in the match said it hurt their feelings.
1/5 players in the match said it made the game more enjoyable.
Results: Pig Nerfed.

We don’t know what they exactly tried and what the reactions were.
but pig nerf is obligatory anyways.

use corrupt intervention or pay attention to how long your chase is. If its such a good looper then go for someone else

I wish my solo q games went like this. I get these kind of teammates, like 2 in 10 games.
The rest of my games are 3 or 4ks as I do an average of 3 gens myself.
Of course, switch back to killer and I see the gens fly......

How long did you commit to that chase?

So probably the killer was chasing one survivor while the other three worked peacefully on gens. Probably the killer has tunnel vision.
Also... If in a balanced game two survivors should escape, it means that 2-3 survivors should be alive when the last gen is finished.

The stated goal is "2 survivors escape every game."
That means that the Devs want all 5 gens to be finished EVERY SINGLE GAME.
If you have to ask "should generators just be popping constantly?" then just remember this: The Devs do not want a game of back-and-forth any more. They don't believe getting over 6 hooks makes for a good game experience. They WANT you to tunnel one survivor out of the game, then capture a second on in EGC and just camp them while the other two leave.
The current state of the game is what they've built it to be and they're not willing to admit that they've made (and keep making) terrible decisions that erode the fun the game used to have.

It does seem like this sometimes. But if you actually keep track, you'll see it's actually evening out. to about 2k/2e. I played a brand new Sadako last night with a bad selection of just a few perks and got a 4k, next game, with Hag and full perks, I got 2 hooks. Honestly, I could have camped the survivor in the killer shack and got one kill but really wasn't feeling that try-hard.

Not quite, the stated goal is an average of 2 per game, presumably with median results of 1-3 kills per game. They have never once said they want “2 escapes every game”, they just want 2 to be the staistical average and 0 and 4 kills to be the exceptions and not the rule.
But yes, having 1-3 kills per game most games does mean the gens should be finished most of the time assuming both sides play equally well.

Most my games start with a random survivor goind down within the first 20 seconds of the match.
Then there is ruin, pain resonance, dead mans switch... And the snowball begins.
So most of my matches last 10-15 minutes. I cant see any gen rush there.

I find this hilarious because half of the time, my SoloQ experience is me getting chases for interesting periods of time and my teammates doing absolutely nothing. Or, when I play Killer, Survivors just keep trying to body-block or blind me. I hadn't gotten gen-rushed in a while...

I run corrupt from time to time and I know when to drop chase but spreading damage isn't really viable anymore with COH.
Its more about the lackluster game as survivor. Seriously you can just run from gen to gen without a care anymore. It really waters down the game experience to be so safe when playing survivor.
When was the last time you actually felt scared of the killer player, I know a lot of people get off on being able to run a killer endlessly but I find it kinda dull to be unfazed by the killer when found.
I'd say 1 in 10 games are thrilling and the rest are just sit on a gen and walk out the door.
Killer games still go either way and 3 gens done up front isn't a loss. My motivation to go for 12 hooks though is not there when half the opponent objective is done when only 1/12 of my own objective is complete.
This can't be what was invisioned as how the standard game goes, I think that's DBD's problem it doesn't live up to the horror experience its advertised as.
