remove stretched black bars
its annoying as hell i've played stretched games for 10+ years and i cant play without it playing killer now feels super weird with blackbars covering 40% of my screen while survivor doesnt really matter... literally the "problem" vas more vertical fov as survivors which you probably managed to patch idk the gain is minimal on 1440 1080... but why the hell do we killers get blackbars?? and as a twins main why doesnt victor have one?

- - i just like my games clean i play all my games or games that are more competetive like cod cs dbd etc. stretched AND LOWEST SETTINGS POSSIBLE!! i want as little s*it on my screen as possible i want the game to basically look "bad"

Why do you need to stretch the res?

Idk about OP but I personally used it for frames because of how unoptimized the game is. Now it shrinks your screen which is harder to play on and makes it permanently cinematic mode which arguably looks worse than a small stretch like 1600x1080/1440/1080.
Also IDK if they fixed the issue since the PTB where it doesn't fit your hud correctly. When I tested it, it put the hud like my game was on native rather than it detecting it was a lower res and fitting it correctly. I also heard super stretch still gives you FOV so... so much for patching it.

Well, I suppose they could give an option to remove the black bars while still not increasing the FOV by instead of making the screen look like this:
to just cut the edges and make it look like this:

This!!! Why in the hell wouldn’t the devs just shadow remove 1x1/below and Jesus config and keep even 1600x1080. Or atleast get rid of the black bars I hate looking through microscopes..

The issue is you are changing the playing field for players. Player who play at one resolution are going to have more vision if they keep things in perspective allowing for a better opportunity to see something. To keep the same perspective they would need to stretch the image which distort the look of the models. That's why you have the black bars.

because i haev 8000 hours stretched csgo i have 800 hours streched rainbow sig i have my desktop stretched i have 400 stretched hours on rust and i've played stretched dbd killer and some survivor since 2017 it looks better in my opiniong i get better fps so its win win

yea the frames are a huge bonus i dont really have an fps problem but it still helps

well it does but the game feels super slow and everything feels super long aswell
