Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Why do survivors waste time at the exit gate instead of leaving?

When The exit gates are open and all 4 survivors are there why do survivors waste everyone's time just standing there instead of leaving. I don't understand it you have won there is no one at risk of being hooked for you to save, so why do most survivors wait out the 2 minutes instead of leaving.

Some (many) want to rub it into your face that they won/you lost.

some want a little bit more chase points, in regards of BP and/or Emblem points. Or chase seconds for their challenge/daily.

some may want to give you a last hit, maybe for a daily/achievement/challenge (that’s me often actually, but I do it only if the killer was nice and it was obvious they wanted the actual power hits)

some may want to take another protection hit for We Are Gonna Live Forever stacks.

They are incredible needy and require your attention. They can never leave in the cold of the fog without saying a last goodbye to the killer.

But seriously, after EGC has started, the killer should be able to just press "Continue" and get to the next match.

    Extra points with no risk.
