Just a Question, please dont turn this into a philosophy lecture.
What is it that actualy is so fun, that Toxic swf groups actually exists? im not talking about how easy the win and the bloodpoints is or how much fun it makes to play a game with friends, im talking about all the things apart from this that are actualy toxic, like tbagging, exitgate disko and so on.
i would in perticualy like to know how a completle bullying match with tons of overly stupid exploits that are just there to ruin the game for another person is fun.
again please dont make this philosophical. if you do, are allways concentraaiting on subjectiv matters and forgetting the objective effects it has on players and game.

Idk if this is philosophical or not but if someone's had a bad game they'll put on op things for the next game and lead others to use op things constantly causing a cycle. Same thing with toxicity, one person is toxic to you so you're toxic back and someone sees this and is toxic to you so you're toxic back etc etc

There are plenty of people that are just ######### and like to make the game as miserable as possible for others. Those exist on both sides (killer and survivor).

Ive said this a year ago and Ill say it again. There are people out there, a lot of them sadly, that feel the only way they can have fun is if they are winning. My nephew was a prime example when he was younger. When Halo Reach came out he constantly asked me and his daddy to play. As soon as he was losing it changed to "I dont wanna play anymore :(" It got worse as he got older. I made a fortress in the map maker and somehow I did something by mistake that made the truck's gauss laser shoot through the walls. We discovered it by accident. There was literally no way to win against that. The laser would go through any and all cover, killing you in one hit. We were split screen so there was no way to hide from it. We try not to look at each others screen but you cant help it. Its in your peripheral vision. We agreed to stop doing it but every time my nephew was losing, he would jump on the truck and shoot through the walls. We laughed at first but told him to stop doing it. 4 mins later he does it again. We told him to stop and 5 mins later he does it a 3rd time. So we shut off the game. Then that night I removed the truck from the map. When we played again a week later my nephew was upset I took the truck out and I told him "You kept cheating. So I took it out and no one can use it". Eventually my nephew learned that losing isn't as bad as not getting to play at all. The issue with online gaming is people continue to do stuff like my nephew did for quick, unfair wins but there is no consequence. They just que up for another match. If they get caught cheating they just make another account and do it again. The people your playing with arent in the same room as you. They are who knows where in the world and you were most likely never meet them.

If I'm being honest bullying happens alot because the game mechanics themselves are so boring that people try to find ways to have a laugh, nobody wants to hold M1 the entire game so they come up with different builds to make the game aggravating for the other side, like a basement bubba for killer or a troll swf not doing gens running head on builds

not philosophical, good answer. but if you have your fun, why not, at least, and only when you are very certain that youre gonna win, make it just a little bit suffreble for the killer.

Some people just get a laugh out of making other people angry or sad. Some people are very sore winners and like to rub the win on the opponent's face as much as possible (teabagging at the exit gate after the killer has had a hard time getting hooks and so on). It's unfortunate, but that's how many people are in real life as well.

well, pretty sure that got pjilosophical at the end, but i think its ok

TL:DR
People are dicks :P

ähhhh... what does TL:DR mean?

It's the age old formula. Normal person + Anonymity + Audience = Turd-Flinging Bonobo Chimp
Now multiply this by a bunch of people playing together and creating a feedback loop in their group, and you've got the DbD bully squads.
Honestly, teabagging and flicking are mild. I've had groups essentially trap me in the game as killer by being unhookable.

Hmm. A complicated question. Perhaps it must be answered in kind:
Where does your self-worth come from?
The never-ending regress in the series of empirical conditions is the key to understanding, certainly, the noumena; in all theoretical sciences, the transcendental unity of apperception, in other words, abstracts from all content of a priori knowledge. The noumena are the clue to the discovery of the phenomena, as we have already seen. As is shown in the writings of Galileo, our judgements have nothing to do with the Ideal of human reason. The employment of human reason, insomuch as time relies on natural causes, would thereby be made to contradict the pure employment of the discipline of practical reason.

Some ppl have some self value issues, to boost or help it they want to make others feel their superioraty, same thing with bullying in real life. Thats my take to it atleast.

I mean, you are the one that signed up to murder people. Nobody said it was gonna be easy, or that the survivors had to just lay down and take it.
You can't play as the bad guy and then complain people treat you like the bad guy.

This is a video game and the person playing killer is not actually a killer.

You're literally trying to rationalize people's behavior online and you ask for non philosophical answers.
I mean because People like treating others like garbage, is makes them feel good, some chemicals released in the body or whatever. Can't really elaborate more than that shallow answer without getting philosophical.
