Survivor Spawn RGN near gens is a joke...
Almost every match I've been playing as killer, I start my first chase, down them & hook them, I'm like sweet, 5 gens left, Then 3 pop at once. It's actually getting to the point where I don't enjoy killer anymore because of this. Killers usually are like "Oh I'm getting Gen rushed. No you just got screwed over by the RGN of survivors spawning next to individual gens. And yeah i could bring slowdown perks for gens, But Ruin doesn't exactly help if they're on it whilst I'm in chase, ect. Its the same with Hex totem spawns, U load in and it is cleansed immediately. It sucks and its unfair.

Is the issue you're having that Survivors are all spawning separately, or that Survivors spawning onto gens. Because it's pretty hard for Survivors to not spawn near generators at the start of the match. If its the former, yeah, that part can be a bit BS.

It’s the spawning seperate, yeah I understand it’s abit hard. So they should make it two survivors spawn together at all times. 2 gens being popped rather 3 is Atleast a little better? And you’ll be pressuring one so, I’d rather all four be on a gen and pop at the start then be on 3 different gens

Yeah it would be better if it could only be all survivors spawn together at the start of the match. Or 3 survivors one solo.

Killer has 4 objective: 4 survivors, the spawn doesnt really matter since these 4 objective can move themselves, run & hide.
4 Survivors have 12 objectives: 7 Gen & 5 totem. There is no way you can make these 16 objects spawn separately.
With the largest map Mother Dwelling with 12.000m square. Split into 16 objects √(12.000 / 16) would make each of them spawn...27m apart.

I always found it funny how killers have an offering to make them all spawn separately. truly a relic from a different era, with survivors scared of the killer and finding safety in numbers.
i kinda miss it.

Corrupt intervention is arguably the best killer perk for a reason. It's the one thing that stops survivors from working on gens within 2 seconds of the game starting. I use it on almost every single killer and in almost every single build. High mobility killers I think discordance is better as an early game perk.

It's fine for me since that means they will usually 3 gen themselves into oblivion.

Corrupt is really good for that early game pressure, I will agree. I've also been using Lethal Persuer so I can see where the survivors are at the start of the match...I play Legion or Wraith mostly, so I do find it super helpful and leads me to getting into a chase really early on.
I'm in agreement that survivor spawns cause me personally a bigger issue than the survivors spawning near their objective, seeing 4 survivors spawn separately can be heavily demoralising, even if it's a match that I end up winning.

Thanks for that Mandy! Enjoy your games

I think the spawn should be fixed. Killers do tend to lose 2-3 gens with 1 chase due to survivors spawning straight to gens.
Usually when using lethal you can see them spawning in groups of 2. At least for me this is the most common spawn. So 2 survivors jump on a gen on different sides of map. If one of those survivors have prove thyself which has now become meta or toolbox that gen is going to fly. While im in chase with 1 of these 3 people i am for sure going to lose 2 gens.
I am already at that point in disadvantage. I have 11 more hooks and they only have 2-3 gens. I can't do hit and run which is sad since CoH exists and boons are still spammable so i have to commit to 1 chase at the time which means rest of the survivors are going to be sitting on gens. Now this is mainly the reason a lot of killers tunnel. When you lose gens in first chase a lot of us start thinking well there goes my time to play fair.
Corrupt invention is the one skill i will never give up but even with that i do tend to lose 2 gens within first chase.
Survivors should not spawn at gens and i think they should all spawn together in every match. They should spawn in a corner of a map where there isnt gen to jump in at the first second. Or at least in one group.

It's RNG, not RGN. It stands for Random Number Generator (which is essentially how computers do randomness... it's still calculated but has the appearance of being random because of the high number of end result values) 😊
Personally I'm of the opinion that survivors should spawn right on the edges of the map, instead of literally on top of generators etc. At least that way they have to move somewhere to get on a gen, and there's a chance they won't double-up.

My solution find the box as Pinhead and slow the game down early that way 😛

That's why I love Discordance.

Whoops, Typo, but i agree, that would be helpful.

That's not true the issue is gen speed. What do you need to do to do a gen? Hold a button. It's a lazy objective so that's why it goes quick. Then explain why when I'm getting quick downs I still lose gens.

I really underestand you, Guy. This is really Sad and you would like do Just quit the match, but don't be mad. I won so many games that I Lost 3 gens in One Chase. A great Idea for this is Corrupt, this One Help me a lot

They spoke abit about it in the last Q and A.
If you don't want survs to spawn near totems, they will spawn near gens, if you dont want them near gens they may spawn on the killer.
On bigger maps it maybe easier, on smaller maps which help alot of killers later on there are limited spawning locations. If you put all the gens together it makes for easy 3 gens and survs get butchered.

I heard you play Legion mostly?

RNG is more often that not is in killer's favor. What's worse is cleansing 4 totems and Ruin is still not found and the killer wins easily because of it. Or, NOED is that last totem tucked away in an inconspicuous location.
The killer can also spawn near a survivor, down someone quickly, and the game is now in killer's favor.

Yes, I agree Sluzzy, you're absolutely right! (Mods please don't ban me)

It's both rng and gen speed. IF survivors decide to play efficiently on gens it's ball game over unless they royally screw up. Prove thyself is a ridiculous perk that should not be in the game that makes it even worse. The ideal way to play survivor is split up on gens in the beginning and once your down to 2 or 1 gen left pair up on them and smash em out. It's crazy easy for SWF groups.

Most of the maps were made smaller and that increases the chances of survivors spawning near gens. I always spawn near gens when I play survivor, so yeah.

Because gens are a lazy objective. Ring is just overkill and the best way to fix it is change how the objective works. Making maps smaller will make the maps look less interesting and that's important in this game.
