Bubba Silent Revving
I just went against a camping Bubba who somehow managed to silence their chainsaw revving up. Is this something that typically happens with insidious or is this some kind of glitch? They walked into another room on the Silent Hill map if that helps put the pieces together.
I'm low-key kind of salty because it ended up giving him a huge game winning advantage.

I've also had this bug cut my chase short many times. I think it has to do with him being out of frame when he starts his chainsaw up.

I believe audio is bugged. I've noticed I can't hear chainsaw charge up or ready hatchets if I'm not looking in the killers direction.

yeah I noticed that today too. I have it on video if people haven't put in a bug report about it

Get this. I had an audio bug one match where huntress' humming was muted.

Nah, just award winning chili and Begrimed Chains. Silent revving sounds like it would make for a cool add-on though.

It’s not looking at them while they revv. Like above, same thing happens with Huntress and is quite the scare when you get hit.

It's been a bug for soooo long at this point,it's so annoying when your chase ends because of it.

It's an audio bug and it has been around for a long time. If it happens, you have to stay extra alert and make sure he isn't around.

Anything that triggers undetectable will create a silent revving

It’s a common bug with him from the survivor POV. Billy has chainsaw noise addons, bubba doesn’t.

Bubba does have a silent saw add on but also if you're not looking at him you won't hear it, the devs changed it to where you hear in the direction you're looking and to legitimize what I'm saying next time any of you works on a gen look behind you totally away from the gen while repairing and the sound of the gen will go silent as well I'm not sure when exactly that changed I think a couple patches ago

You do need to be within 60 meters of him to hear him chainsaw but there’s nothing that’s supposed to silence it inside of that.

Well he used to if he doesn't anymore, I'm not a bubba main but I know for a fact he used to have that add on

First thing I did was check his add-ons and he was using award winning chili along with Begrimed Chains. I double checked the recording just to make sure.
