Has anyone figured out how to get the wrathful well charm yet?
The new Sadako charm was released today and getting it is really confusing, do you need to own Sadako or the entire DLC and for how long? Some people who own Sadako and the DLC don't have it yet.

I only own yoichi as well and I received this charm. The 2nd time I opened the game I got the cursed tape intro. I think it’s RNG but its really weird lock a charm behind RNG.

Yeah I think it's 7 days after owning the characters. I didn't buy Yoichi day 1 so I might unlock it in a couple days.

It is assumed that only those who bought the DLC in the first 7 days will receive it. It does not matter if bought in the store or via Steam 7 days are 7 days and it would also fit the videotape and the story that goes with it

Ok i just got it by watching the Onyrio intro all the way through and then you goto the loading screen and it will play a new 2ndary intro of her coming out of the tv. Watch that one as well all the way through and then youll get the new charm pop up on the main menu.

It is assumed that only those who bought the DLC (or a char in the ingamestore) in the first 7 days will receive it. This would also fit the videotape and its story.

Don't have it. Would be nice to know what the requirements are. When you don't know how it's triggered, it's hard to tell if it's just RNG/Hidden condition, or a bug.

WATCH THE INTRO ALL THE WAY THEN LOAD THE GAME MENU AND A 2NDARY INTRO WILL PLAY WATCH THAT ONE ALL THE WAY THEN YOULL GET THE CHARM ON THE MAIN MENU

I bought the DLC on the first day. Today when I opened the dbd, a different intro appeared (the same video on youtube trailer that shows claudete running with 3 other survivors on the floor crawling) and after a random loading screen (because i dont press space) i was directly sending to the menu and I received the charm.

after i launched the game after todays hotfix, i got an extra intro movie then i was given the charm
i skipped the extra intro movie part way thro tho bc i'd seen it already

I own the DLC on ps4, won it while watching a Fog Whisperer on release day. Today I hopped on to grab my daily log in reward., I skipped the opening cutscene, hit "press button to continue", was confused when another cutscene played, watched it because it was different, loaded into menus, got pop up for charm before the daily log in pop up or news pop up.

Seems like it's 7 days to the exact time you bought it. I bought the DLC around 4 pm Tuesday last week. When I logged in earlier, I didn't have the charm. Logged in 20 minutes ago and I got the video intro and the charm. So it seems like it's time sensitive right down to the last minute.

I booted the game (twice) I watched the full intro(twice) and bought the chapter the first day and still didn't get it on PS4.
and I haven't seen this “new” secondary intro both times I booted the game so HOW DO YOU GET IT????

I bought the DLC when it came out, 7 days later the chapter cinematic happened during the game intro, after that I had a girl climbing out of a well in my charm inventory. Pretty cool

I skipped the intro, started loading into menu, got static scene and skipped it bc I thought it was the normal one just glitched and played later. But I received the charm and l looked it up. I got the dlc a day or 2 after release. So idk 🤷♀️ Maybe you just need to get the second cutscene? I’m on Xbox
